Home fries very bad. Unfriendly staff made me feel like a burden despite knowing exactly what I wanted and asking zero questions

Dined at the colonial coffee shop today with the family this place used to be the go to diner and after the fire they re-open while the place is nice the staff is not coordinated at all with uniforms at all. Almost all the staff do not wear any hairnets while working the line at all with hair all over the place I just lame we saw one of the servers opening a bottle with her teeth and then continue to go on and also use face wipes to clean her face while serving people and Sammy behind the bar I'm sure if the health department saw this they would quickly shut them down . The food was nothing to read about at all and just a simple quick meal but all these things that ended up really made the place look disgusting and made us feel like not returning Again

If you’re looking for a hidden goldmine in town, look no further. They can’t keep enough seats open in this place on Saturday mornings, and the reason why is simple. The food is great and the service is the epitome of how a small family business should operate. Having breakfast here has become a staple in our weekly routine, and we wouldn’t have it another way.

This place was ok. It was clean and the decor was simple. The staff was ok, but made comments among themselves when an item was sent back. The menu was boring, offering standard diner fare and nothing more. And the food we received was bland. Also, it doesn't say much that the cook was drinking from a gallon water jug; does that mean the water we received was bad? II would go back here in a pinch, but I'm sure there are other places more interesting in the area.

This place is great! The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. At any given time we can stop in and guarantee a delicious "home-cooked" meal and be sat, served, eat, and be on our way in 30 minutes or less. Perfect!!

A hidden gem of Howell. Great breakfast and lunch, very friendly very helpful staff very simple easy to read menu with very fair pricing and great portions. I get take out here regularly and it's always done very fast and always right and always delicious.

The guy behind the counter was kind, the food came out quick and was cooked exactly as I had requested. Truly a hidden gem for breakfast. I'd highly recommend this place and will be back.
