Colonial Coffee Shoppe

Under new ownership as of recently and the place is much improved. Coffee and food were great and the staff was very friendly. I had the new grilled crumb cake and almost fell out of my seat from how good it was! Definitely recommend to anyone in the Howell area.

I just ate breakfast at CCS and I have to say besides the food being great(I had the Irish omelette w/ a side of French toast) the staff was the absolute friendliest staff I have ever seen. I’m new to the Howell area back in NJ from Florida and I felt like I was back in the south based on how friendly everyone was. I worked and managed bars and restaurants all over the country for over 20 years and I have never been blessed with such a happy staff of employees that I witnessed this morning. Howell is lucky to have this diamond in the rough called Colonial Coffee Shop and I’m glad I only live a few minutes away. I will definitely be back and become a new regular.

Went to the colonial diner to pick an order for my mother in law and saw a customer eating hot open roast beef so I got one to go for myself it was excellent! Went back for a BLT excellent again! You guys need to do dinners!! It would be great for me in Howell!

My girls , Scramble eggs were burnt. Home fries not much of a taste. Hot tea kind of cool. Grilled crumb cake is good though. But we did get her breakfast on the house.

2 stars at best…..$5 for corn beef hash and that is what I got……

Staff was polite and service was quick. Place feels like walking into a dirty house. The food had a weird taste and I couldn't even drink the coffee. Coffee has a chemical taste. It's worth it to pay a little more and go to a real Diner

Great food, super friendly people and fantastic value! This will become a regular stop on the weekends. Can't wait to try their breakfast items!

Picked up a doordash order from here and it smelled amazing. The style of this place has like a 70's maybe 80's vibe to it and i really like it. Can't wait until the global pandemic is over so i can go sit down there and try their food! Will have a better review then on how the food actually is. Regardless the staff was super friendly and very polite. Quick in and out to pick up food

i got the hungryman breakfast platter order to go

the eggs were cooked perfect to order the home fries were delicious

the pork roll was tender

the bacon was crispy in the most perfect way possible

the sausage was very good

overall I would recommend this place for a quick breakfast eat . the staff was very friendly and provided good service for my limited interaction
