The Local Grocer

Both their grocery store and attached cafe are amazing and offer a wide selection of foods to meet any dietary restriction, especially gluten free and vegan. However, if you eat animal products, they offer high quality meat, cheese, etc. from local farms too. So anyone can find something yummy at their store and cafe.

From my past few visits, I enjoyed a smoothie, vegan sausage breakfast sandwich on a gf roll, vegan and gf strawberry donut and blueberry donut, dairy free and gf blueberry muffin, hot and iced oat milk latte, and lastly a vegan and gf breakfast scramble wrap. That's just a sample of what they offer! And all of it was super tasty. (And not just tasty FOR a gluten free, vegan thing!)

Additionally, the staff was so friendly and willing to accommodate any adjustments to their menu items. Overall, I loved the food and had a remarkable experience with the staff.

I enjoy the cafe, delicious breakfast sandwiches and great smoothies! Love to get a smoothie after a yoga class. The yoga studio is wonderful, if you have a chance take a class, it's a wonderful practice.
They also have a great selection of crystals. It's a one-stop for your well being!

Great food options for my food sensitivities. My husband also really enjoyed his food and latte. They also have the cutest gift shop and great grocery items. We always have to stop here when we are in North Conway! ❤

Hands down one of my favorite places in the valley. Fresh food, great diversity in the menu, so many dry goods that are healthy and delicious. Wonderful atmosphere with a friendly knowledgeable staff. Great place for a good meal and a abundance of health and wellness goodies!! Love this Place!!

What a treat to have The Local Grocer in North Conway! It is so hard to find good quality & organic groceries up in this area. Before we found this place, we'd have to bring everything with us - now we stock up here every time we come! The cafe is wonderful & all the staff is so friendly and helpful! No matter what time of year, we can always find what we need here for our visits!

Selection is great, service is great, and food is fabulous for a vegan family on a trip to NH who hasn't had a decent meal in days. Pleasant atmosphere. If you are in the area and don't like the chain supermarkets, this is where you want to buy your groceries and eat a few meals.

Everything you could ever need in one place. Wow this place is incredible!!! The food was delicious and all sustainably sourced organic and non GMO local foods. Still in awe. Wish I lived closer I would work here in exchange for free food lol. Seriously though if you're in the white mountains at all or even Maine this place is worth the trip. Eat Organic, local, non GMO and sustainably and you will contribute the health of this planet for future generations and the Local Grocer makes that a very easy decision. Get to this place and enjoy!!

Excellent food. I had the best vegan (actually I would say even better than vegetarian) quesadilla there. The falafel wraps were excellent too. Their food is not very fatty and tastes super good. If I ever go to visit Mount Washington again, I am definitely going to have a feast at the Local Grocer again!

Hands down the best place to buy breakfast ( or lunch) in the NoCo. Valley. The choices are varied and the food is excellent. The owner(s) take very seriously the idea of sourcing as much of their food as possible from local farms and insuring its organic. Its not something they are trying to capitalize on - because its trendy - they truly believe in it. This gives the customer faith that what is advertised is truly what they are purchasing/consuming. Highly recommend !

Awesome place! Coming from NJ where you can get vegetarian and vegan food pretty much anywhere, our trip to North Conway proved that pretty much no business there cares about catering to vegetarians or vegans. The Local Grocer gave us our tempeh / falafel fix. Definitely glad we stopped. One of the very few places offering anything for vegetarians!
