Cafe italia

Best espresso I have had in a long time! Often they are somewhat sour, not the one at Cafe Italia, which was truly outstanding, indeed, having lived half of my life in Europe, I'd say also compared to what you get in Italy. Baked goods were really neat too, and service was extremely friendly. Can't wait to stop by again next time we drive through NC on our way home (to Vermont).

I went to this gem of a place no less than 4 times, possibly 5. We stopped for lunch on one of our shopping days and I had this veggie grilled sandwich that was divine. Toasted well and tasted incredible. Along with that I got an iced coffee which was robust with so much flavor. After lunch, I went back on to their pastries and got about 5 macaroons, wow. The following day I walked by to get more coffee. And so on until the day I left the area. The last day, we bought a piece of tiramisu and it was probably the best I've ever had.

Now as for the staff. The owners are from Northern Italy and so very friendly. I'd go back to Conway just to talk to them more and have a coffee.

I had the lemon and BlackBerry gelato, bother were incredible and authentic. The caffe also has a beautiful and delicious array of baked. I paired my gelato with the lemon mascarpone cake.

Do yourself a favor and get here — preferably several times so you can enjoy all the great breakfast, lunch and coffee hour offerings that Lorella has on offer! We were so thrilled to talk with Lorella about her hometown of Torino, IT and will be keeping this on our short list for any time we are in the area.

We love this true little Italian Cafe. We always go in for at least a coffee or a latte. Sometimes a pastry is well and they have nice paninis. And it really is a true Italian Cafe. I love the accent that the ladies. A little Hidden Gem.

Wish there was a place like this around where we live. Great food and environment, very impressed with the speed of the staff and they couldn't have been more friendly or patient with our group. We will be coming back in the future.

My husband and I purchased a chocolate croissants. Little did we know, it was actually Nutella! My husband had an aniphelatic reaction. He is allergic to Hazelnuts. I sent an email to the owners, explaining what had happened and suggested that they label the chocolate croissants with Nutella. One week later NO response!!! We are locals and will Not return! Fortunately we carry medication and epi pens.

We really enjoyed our meal and the service was warm and friendly.
