A&E Coffee & Tea

Just tried for the first time today and loved it so much! I got a vanilla lavender latte with oat milk and it’s delicious! The baristas were so sweet and welcoming and answered all the questions I had! Such a cute little store with nice people and delicious drinks. Will definitely be returning!

Before I started working at A&E I was a customer who stopped in a handful of times. I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. The plants hanging from the ceiling and on the wall, the warm bright lighting, and the smell of coffee in the air. The coffee had easily been some of the best that I had found anywhere in the Manchester area, and knowing that the business thrives on responsible sourcing and eco-friendly practice made me feel even better about my coffee purchase (which is also part of why I ended up applying to work at A&E). The prices are pretty standard for a small coffee shop with sustainable sourcing, the beans are roasted locally and bagged in house, and I can honestly say everyone working for A&E is committed to serving up good coffee and crafting a positive customer experience and work environment. From a normal customer to a now employee, I definitely recommend stopping in for a latte.

I stopped by this little coffee shop to catch up with a friend. While it is very small with only a few seats, we were able to the table and hang out for a couple hours. The coffee was great and there were plenty of options. Not the best coffee shop I've been to, but it certainly was good on almost all accounts.

I’m not a fan of leaving a negative review. I even came this establishment for a second time to try to give it the benefit of the doubt. The coffee is decent with interesting recipes(although extremely overpriced😓), so I was hoping the first impression was just a fluke. After the second encounter with the same type of customer service, I think it’s safe to assume that this is the norm. There were two younger people working behind the counter. I assume college aged. It seems that I had bothered them by entering the coffee shop. I placed my order and waited quietly while the two of them continued having an extremely graphic conversation about genitalia and the effects of STI‘s/other infections. I don’t mind a casual setting, but this was uncomfortable and awkward. My friend and I sat for a while to sip coffee , But ended up leaving because the conversation just kept getting more inappropriate. I asked for a “to go” lid before I left. The one employee pointed casually to where they were sacked and then turned to her coworker to say “ Anyways...” And continued the conversation. I’m more than happy to pay for my seven dollar cup of coffee somewhere with better customer service.

Good, friendly conversation with a fresh and inviting atmosphere. These ladies are happy to chat with coffee lovers and brewers from all over. My latté was delicious and well-balanced, and went great with their homebaked chocolate muffin! 10/10 will be coming back again when I’m back in Manchester :-)

Legit best espresso/latte I've ever had, zero bitterness, great crema, beautiful foam art, and an aroma like tiramisu. Super nice staff too. Will 100% be returning anytime I'm in Manchester, and definitely plan to try their gorgeous-looking selection of teas.

Two of us had lattes and one had a tea. We all had breakfast sandwiches with bacon. Everything was fantastic and the servers were very nice and knowledgeable. Go here!

Cutest little coffee shop! ☕ mocha latte, Peppermint mocha latte were nice, and the blueberry muffin tea was amazinggggg. Nit a tea drinker but enjoyed holding the warm cuppa, and smelling it while my SO was driving

Wonderful little shop focused on tea and coffee. I appreciate the organic options. They take care and pride in selecting quality products, roasting and blending their own original coffees and creating their own unique blends of teas. I plan to take advantage of their online store and have some coffee and tea shipped to me. Our lunch selection of avocado toast was excellent and worth the wait despite slow service.
