Great place for lunch. Not very many vegan options but the one bowl I chose was delicious. You will leave feeling healthy and full of energy. Definitely going back!

Online ordering for the Keene location is horrible. The order is rarely correct. If you call to complain to the manager she will agree that the app has issues but says there’s nothing that they can do about it. They tell you to call instead, which is fine, but why have an app if it doesn’t work? It seems foolish. If you have “known issues” take it down until they’re fixed. Otherwise you have unhappy customers that won’t return and unhappy staff that have to deal with the complaints. It’s unfortunate because the food is usually good.

We had the all-time WORST coffee there. I don’t know if they ran it through the brew twice to save money or what, but that stuff tasted like dirt water. We had to throw it away and go to another local cafe to find actual coffee.

One of the worse bagel experiences I ever had! My wife and I ordered a NY Bagel i.e. a bagel with lox. It was outrageously expensive between $8 and $ 9. It was on a smallish un-toasted bagel (they never asked). In a real deli you have to ask them not to toast it otherwise bagels and lox are toasted. Then it comes out a large glob of plain cream cheese a few sharp onions and red fish. IT WAS NOT LOX it may have been salmon though it was so tasteless I could not tell. My second time there I will not be back!

Pros: Bagels were decent. Coffee was decent
Cons: Staff did not acknowledge us at the counter for several minutes throughout both times we went to the restaurant. When we were acknowledged, it was disrespectful and short. When handed 2 bagels, we did not receive a bag, but the customers in front of us and behind us did.

I have had some of my favorite sandwiches here! The sunrise grilled burrito used to be a go to for me, but lately the quality has been extremely inconsistent i.e. hardly any bacon, pico de gallo tasting funky, sooo much quinoa. Wraps used to be great, fresh, and you could clearly see all the ingredients. Just not worth it anymore for the inconsistency which is a bummer 😪
3/18/20: Updating this to say the past several times I’ve gone to the Works this year have been great! My favorites (sunrise grilled burrito and California salmon roll) have been consistent and delicious 👏👌

This is one of my hometown faves. Can't compare to NY bagels (what can?), but always satisfying. Coffee is decent, and salads are good too.

I needed to find a Gluten Free friendly place on the way to skiing. This place fit the bill perfectly. Besides a GF muffin, all the breakfast sandwiches could be prepared to order on Uddi's bread. And they did a very nice job on the sandwich! For my non-GF sandwich, the bagel was soft and fresh, rather than killed in a panini press. There also looked to be ample GF lunch options. The staff was courteous and helpful, too.

Great food, tastes fresh. A little steep for what you get but I think it's pretty much worth it. Would definitely recommend.

I like this place. It is unpretentious, the staff is friendly, but most of all the food and the coffee are very good. The sandwiches are generous with fresh, locally sourced, often organic ingredients. They also have free wifi. What's not to like? (btw, wrt REVIEW #1, they don't serve pizza!?)
