I was looking for a place to sit quietly and have some coffee seen in the window of The Works Cafē comfy chairs.
I went in ordered a coffee sat down and found my self in there for almost an Hour and a half.., coffee was very good, wait staff pleasant & no line to wait in. I wore my mask as I sat there, pulling it up for every sip...

Cold food, unfortunately all they can do is microwave it. Unfortunately microwaved egg sandwiches are worse than cold ones.

When I visit Keene, it is my home away from home. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere is always cozy and inviting. Special hello to Richard French. He is the man. 😊 Shine on you crazy bagel people! Cheers!

Really great food! Healthy, locally sourced, and delicious! Lots of vegetarian options which makes me happy. Had a great sandwich and smoothie! Really fast service too.

This place will fulfill all your yuppie desires. Locally sourced food, kale smoothies, cucumber water, and a compost disposal. All it needs is solar panels and it would be quite literally a paradise ;)
However, the food is decently good. Better than Panera by a wide margin. The prices are a bit ridiculous for even a sandwich in comparison to other local restaurants.

Very comfortable and Low key vibes. My favorite part about this joint is the locally-sourced food and the incredibly hard working individuals who work here. There is something to be said about the fast ticket times and the wide range of choices on their menu. Perfect place to come with a few friends to chat and drink some coffee. I also see people doing their work around here due to the quiet and comfortable space. Wi-Fi is available

Casual college town coffee, sandwiches and baked goods.

I've been patronizing The Works about 4-5 times a month for the last couple years. The problem I have is the consistency. Not so much with the beverages and sandwiches, but with the salads and bowls. Sometimes they're excellent, and sometimes mediocre at best. The most noticeable issue with consistency is in the amount of ingredients, but sometimes with the quality of ingredients as well. Example: Today I ordered the sesame ginger chicken quinoa bowl. It was suppose to come with pineapple mango salsa... they must have forgot it. The broccoli was so over cooked that is was like mush. I ate one piece and had to remove the rest. And sesame ginger? Got a hint of ginger, but nothing sesame. Chicken was on the dry side as well. Overall, it was a rather dry and somewhat bland dish. Now mind you, I've had this dish in the past and its been excellent. Thus the consistency issue. I will continue to go back now and then, but if they fixed the consistency issue, who knows!

My go to! Great smoothies and healthy choices for food. However the lattes are a rip off. Opened up my cup to realize it was only half full. Do I get 1/2 off my $5 latte if the cup is only have full? The lids for the to-go cups are also very cheap and either A, fall off or b, allows the coffee to leak out the sides.

Creative, tasty menu items - I especially like the Huevos Wrap (breakfast burrito with salsa) and the tuna melt. The coffee has a unique flavor that I really enjoy, and they source all their ingredients locally!
