Westside Cafe and Coffee Company

I ordered the $17.00 Crab Benedict and they used imitation crab. Their menu estates “crab” not “imitation crab”. I asked them about it and the said “we mix imitation crab with real crab”. Who does this? Anyway, there was ZERO real crab so I payed $17.00 for FAKE crab. The hollandaise sauce was watered down & so was the gravy for biscuits and gravy. Not only was the biscuits and gravy watery but there was no meat in the gravy.

The only good thing was the breakfast sandwich, which we ended up splitting between 3 people because it was the only edible thing we received. I would NOT recommend this place. You can see for yourselves in the pictures.

Everything is always delicious, from the food to the coffee to the specialty sodas. Also, not just the best Reuben in town, the best Reuben I've ever had.

Excellent customer service. I went back 2 days in a row and bought a friend with me the 2nd day and this tastes closest to a home cookmeal that I've had from a little restaurant in a long time. You can taste the love of cooking in the food, meaning everything I tasted that was well seasoned and thoughtfully planned out very carefully. And they have fresh squeeze carrot juice and Orange juice where I ask for 50/50 and that is a must try!
This will be the place where I take my guests to for breakfast thank you guys great job!

Food was disgusting. When I called the mexican(I’m guessing) said “you know what? You won’t get your money back!” And hung up on me

This is the best coffee shop in Washoe County, nowhere else compares.

I’ve been to all coffee shops north of i80 and out to cold springs/Spanish springs. Sparks lacks in Coffee and I do not live anywhere near this coffee shop but I drive 11 miles out of my way just to get this gentleman’s coffee. Insanely consistent and I’ve never had any coffee shops not jack up a drink eventually, here though it’s clear that coffee isn’t thrown together and tasting of torani, this is good coffee you will only be upset you didn’t try sooner.

On a busy Sunday they still had space for me to come in and drink an excellent decaf mocha!

Their food is so delicious. We get breakfast most of the time but recently have been getting lunch. We enjoy their burgers and their sandwiches. Their food is always fresh and tastes really good.

Westside has been a NW Reno tradition for decades. Nothing fancy, but good food, decent service amd awesome coffee. 4 stars because I do t want them to get too busy and have a wait...😎

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! The server was extremely rude, as we sat down he approached our table with out greeting and asked if we needed a menu with a snappy attitude. Why wouldn’t we need a menu? Throughout breakfast he continued to provide us with bad service by being very short, snappy and walking away as we were talking to him. Until he brought the check of course 😂 My first time not tipping a server and it felt good. If you’re looking for good service and better food go to Peg’s.

Update. Changed rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. Dined in. Service was lacking, the food was far too salty, and presentation was poor. A disappointing experience all around. Table covers are ragged sheets of plastic.
