Front desk said no rv spots available. Sat down in lobby and called reservations, no problem had several sites available. Got reservations went to front dest and checked in. Next morning 15 sites were not occupied at 4:30 am
Rooms are not bad. The casino is ok. Most of the employees on the floor had an attitude-- dealing with them was very unpleasant. It was my first time there and I didn't care for their customer service at all. Sitting at the bar and playing was a better experience. The one's working at the bar served the drinks promptly and I played blackjack happily 😊. We ate at the Casa Cafe all the days we were there. It was a decent meal, and the price was reasonable. I was able to get a much needed wax done before I left. I would absolutely recommend the Spa services. I enjoyed the valet services as well.
Two reviews in one: First review: I'm going with "kinda groovy." We day tripped our way up there from Vegas. It's not a bad drive, and it's even scenic in some places. Now, on to the casino... It was busy on Mother's Day, and it's nice to see everyone having a good time. I saw a guy win $1k dollars on a slot machine. We ate at their buffet on Saturday during the dinner menu. If you like crab legs, you've hit the jackpot. It's not my cup of tea. Their NY Strip was average at best. I enjoyed the salad bar, and even though it's small, the selection was nice. The staff was attentive, and the decor was 'dated' but okay. For $20, I think you'll come away with a full belly and satisfied. Just bear in mind it's not the Wicked Spoon or even SouthPoint's buffet... give it a try. Oh, and you'll notice a demographic difference, too. Have fun! Second review: One year later.... Goodness gracious! Stay away from the seafood buffet.. I have, as all monsters do, an iron disposition, but I met my match. I ate one crayfish, and I threw it all up an hour later. It was so gross that I spit it out, but that didn't matter. Just do yourself a favor and avoid the buffet on seafood night. Nastier than Nasty Canasta.
I've been there quite a few times I really love the big huge waterfall display out front. Sometimes during the Summers they have free concerts which are really awesome. The casino itself is your usual casino I seem to have better luck over at the eureka
Katherine's restaurant is superb. Great food, fine dining table side preparation for several items is very fun to watch. The spinach salad is excellent. Everything we've ordered has always been excellent. Reservations save a lot of headaches.
Fun, clean for the most part. We found a sock left over & few other signs of other people & personally I find that kinda gross but it is a hotel so.. 🤷♀️ aside from that and some vacuuming needed under the bed edges it was clean. Other issue I had was there was no Bible in the room! I was shocked i thought that was always a thing! The cocktail waitresses were quick and nice, the machines were decent and not too crowded. Best part was the pool hands down. Perfect temp and not too crowded on a Monday mind you. Rooms were a little over priced since we got into town around 130am they did make us pay Saturdays FULL night rate just so we could check in before 4PM!!! Kind of not worth it considering it was like $130 or so just to have those extra hours but being from out of town we didn't have much choice. Food at the Cafe was good not like omg great but still very good. Coffee shop is delicious would recommend. Over all we would stay there again.
Listen Mesquite is old school so you're not going to find modern luxury. The Hotel is outdated but clean and comfortable. You can't beat the price. The pool area is HUGE. I bet it's amazing in the summer. It also has the casino, a spa, and golf. Something for everyone.
Great Dinner at Katherine's (highly rated) Restaurant inside Casablanca Hotel/Casino. Food /Service can't be beat. Steaks and Crab were fantastic. Relaxing atmosphere!
Not what I expected for the advertising I see. I've had better Rooms at a motel 6. Casino was ok but coctails/drinks waitresses are few and far between.
My go to place in Mesquite usually do the stay and play golf package than ad on a few extra days to stay and play more golf both onsite restaurants are great
