Amazing coffee! Amazing atmosphere! Amazing staff! Upon returning the barista Eric already knew my name and that I usually go for decaf. Outstanding service and unbelievable roasts.

tldr: Dark Moon is an incredible coffee shop and the best we visited in the larger Vegas area. Their beans are impeccably roasted, their staff is insanely knowledgeable and more than willing to help, they have a variety of very unique drinks, and their seating is fantastic for working. Short of not making iced pour overs I think Dark Moon is practically perfect.

Thoughts: Still day 2 (though we came back on day 3 twice), and stop number 8 on our coffee, food, and desert tour. Dark Moon was our post lunch coffee stop and blew us away. We’d already been to several great coffee shops but Dark Moon took it to a whole new level. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, walking us through the process and tasting notes for several of the beans, explaining their favorites and why they were their favorites. Later, while we were sitting and getting some work done, we even overhead one of the barista’s walking a group of people through their entire process of brewing a pour over as he did it. I’ve never seen that done at a cafe before, and it didn’t seem like it was a chore for him at all. The staff of Dark Moon seem to genuinely love coffee and want all their customers to love it too (I’m on team love coffee if it isn’t obvious).

While on this trip we only tried a pour over, during the course of our visits we had an espresso and tonic, two other pour overs, this insane smoked blueberry magical potion drink, and a cappuccino. The only one that wasn’t some the best coffee I’d ever had was the cappuccino, the espresso was a little dark for my tasted and didn’t have a depth of flavor that I’ve had in some other places. Everything is was ridiculously good, the pour overs all had their own unique, complex flavors, you knew that you were drinking a different cup of coffee each time. The espresso and tonic was a drink I had never tried before and is now one of my new favorites. It’s a crazy mix of tangy bitterness from the tonic and punch from the espresso. It’s honestly a bit hard to describe but it’s an amazing drink that I would highly recommend you try, unless you just don’t like tonic water. The blueberry drink thing was more alchemy that coffee I think. It involved smoking a glass, mint, blueberries, espresso (duh), and some other things I think? While it would never really replace my go to coffee it was an incredibly unique coffee experience.

Honestly I think you can really only get this level of greatness at a coffee shop with an intense level of care and commitment to your craft, and Dark Moon drips care and commitment. You feel it when you walk in and talk to the staff, and you taste it in every sip of coffee. Dark Moon isn’t just the best cafe and roaster I visited in Vegas, it’s one of the best coffee shops I have every been to, and I’ve been to a lot.

Anyone that can get to Dark Moon should, even if you don’t like coffee, if given the chance they might just change your mind.

Dark Moon, you are truly masters of your craft and I applaud your commitment to excellence and care….at least I would if I wasn’t clutching a cup of your delicious coffee.

I always like to search around for new coffee places in the area and this one was a true gem. Unique coffee flavors with the beans used which gives a wild flavor!! I tried the mocktail tonic coffee. It took me by surprise from the tonic water but the FLAVORS!! Such a delicious drink and will be coming back regularly!!

Second visit here and I’m already sold on this place. Great cold brew (smooth acidity) and so much character with the interior design. Their to-go cups are reusable, which is a first for any café I’ve been to, strongly recommend!

Awesome place! We tried the drip, cold brew, and espresso - it was all great! We're definitely stopping by here again when we pass through Henderson. This is saying something as I like to stop by any local roasteries or coffee shops when passing through places, and this has to be in my top 5.

Also, the baristas were fantastic - my partner left her beloved nalgene behind & they held onto it for several days in case anyone came back (which we eventually did.)

Absolutely killer atmosphere! Unlike anywhere else in town. The staff and owner are very friendly and ready to answer any questions. Had to try the nitro cold brew and it did not disappoint! Will definitely be coming back for more!

We love Dark Moon Coffee! We purchase their beans regularly. One of our favorites is the Nova Blend :) Go to Dark Moon for good coffee, you won't regret it.

Great service, very clean and aesthetically pleasing.

The plum tea was smooth and I enjoyed it. My girl friend tried the Carmel latte which she liked as well.

Definitely worth checking out.
