Old World Coffee Lab

Dude I didn't even know this place was hiding back here!! It's so nice!!! The inside is really calm and quiet, the sitting area is so so fancy! And their prices REALLY aren't that bad (I work at a sbux, I know lol) if you're just kinda walking around downtown, stop by and get yourself a lavender vanilla latte! YUM!!!

Well the pipes don't freeze apparently so getting coffee when it's cold is probably possible. Originally I was on my way to conma coffee but the sign on the door said pipes frozen come back in spring. 🌼
So old world coffee ☕️ lab just down the way gave my Cafe needs a moment of time.

A contemporary mod spot, 😎 groovey outdoor area and comfortable enough indoor to rest your cheeks a moment.
The beverages are exploration personal and the experiment per user. Batista seemed to be up to speed and friendly when your paying them. The rest of the time I wasn't sure.

Old world coffee lab is an interesting name. I feel like beakers and fiction should be the decor. What concoction doth thee curious? Pray tell and remember to tip.

I am on extended visit to CC and have visited multiple coffee shops. This is THE BEST. Yes, it takes longer than going to Starbucks. The coffee is more than worth the wait. The covered patio is fabulous, even on a hot day. Loved it so much I bought a shirt!

Science has its experimentation and old world coffee lab is certainly a place to Peer review. 🤜💫🤛

It is lacking white coats and pocket protectors to be scientific.

Cool place, but cannot get a dark roasted coffee here. "We only brew light and medium roasts", I was told with a sniff. So much for hundreds of years of coffee roasting experience.

Good place to visit, work, watch people. Nice bar and restaurant connected via a long hallway in the front. This is a nice addition to Carson city.

Today I had the Stay-Calm-And-Cherry-On Latte, a tasty concoction that includes cherry and cardamom syrups. Recipes are original and designed by their team, I'm told, and delicious.

Fabulous atmosphere and delicious coffee! We will return!

Very good single origin coffee with amazing flavor.

I went in to get a cup of coffee this afternoon and had a bad experience. I'm a Disabled Afghanistan War Veteran and have a legitimate health condition which prevents me from wearing a facial covering. I fall into the category of "mask exemptions" which is outlined very clearly in the Governor's mandate. It states that people with disabilities are exempt. When I got in line I was asked by the gentleman working the register to put on a mask. I calmly explained to him that I have a disability and that according to the mask mandate I'm exempt. We went back and forth for a couple of minutes. He didnt seem to understand that the Governor put exemptions in for people like myself. I also was harassed by some of the other customers who treated me with contempt and anger even after they found out that I was just calmly explaining my rights. None of the customers would stop to even hear what I had to say. I kindly said I would leave, asked for the manager's name and left.
Needless to say I will never go in there again and I will share what happened with anyone if they ask me about coffee places in Carson. Very sad that I was treated the way I was just because I was following the mandate exemption policy. I suffer from mental health issues from my service downrange and what happened today at Old World definitely doesn't help what I go through on a daily basis. What has happened to our Country???
