After driving through South Dakota on our way home for hours and hours, we stumbled on this restaurant shortly after entering Nebraska. The exterior of the building isn’t exciting, but we wanted to give it a chance. Walking in we still had reservations about what to expect in regards to the food. We sat down and were greeted and seated immediately. We were all so pleased with our experience. The waitress was helpful and kind, and the food was great. I recommend stopping there if you’re in the area. wanderingboldly

Great atmosphere, great service and great food. I have been in this town for 3 days and its the best food I have found. I highly recommend this establishment.

Went for vets day and had an awesome supper. THEY HAVE PUMPKIN PIE!!!!! Their peanut butter pie is great. Ask for some chocolate drizzle on it. You won't be mad at it!

Food and staff were excellent. Had a very good Dinner menu for a Cafe. Very reasonably priced and not crowded.

I like this place. I highly recommend the walleye which you would think had just been caught in a MN or Canadian lake and is done just right. The sweet potato fries are nice and come with syrup which really isn't necessary. They have interesting burgers one of which comes with peanut butter! I haven't tried it yet; I'm hooked on the walleye which I don't get very often living here in beef country.

Wait staff friendly and efficient. Reasonable prices. Have not had a tuna melt for years. Celery and egg in mix. Toasted on mixed rye. Great! The special was great. Even came with a small piece of homemade strawberry cake! Nostalgic with pics of Marilyn Monroe era stars.

One of my favorite places in town for lunch. Always really friendly service, good food, and the kitchen gets orders out in really good time. Definitely recommend for a nice sit down lunch or to go.

I thought it was a typical small town Diner type restaurant.
I had the hamburger with fries, and apple pie a la mode. I thought everything was great.
The basic Burger with fries was listed real cheap, then I Deluxed it (lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and pickle slices) for an extra $0.75, and cheese for an extra $0.25.
Fancy this ain't, and you may have to wave your arm to get service , but that just adds character to this place.
If you're easily offended by perceived slights, or like to complain, then this place is not for you.
