Cooks Cafe

We really enjoyed our breakfast today. We had the country fried steak with hash browns & eggs. The de was very good and the waiters were checking us for refills all the time. Best place we have been in Lincoln

Great home town cafe atmosphere with fantastic food!

I love this place but this morning it took us 5 minutes to get sat and then it took us another 4 minutes without even being greeted so I'm kind of upset right now.. just trying to have a nice breakfast before work oh and I called to ask for a manager and was told there was none

You may have a wait on the weekends, especially on Sundays. Why? Because it's a very good restaurant!

Food was great, really good Cold-Brew coffee. Friendly & attentive service and reasonable wait time on a weekend. Overall a good dining experience, would definitely come back.

This is a nice place to meet up with friends. It has a nice inviting atmosphere full of coffee and antique type of memorabilia. It's mostly quiet and the wait staff is prompt. The reason for only 3 stars is because my order of food from both times wasn't impressive. I ordered eggs benedict and the bread on bottom was soggy. I also had something else unmemorable but do remember thinking I could have made it at home and tasted better. My friends orders however were fine so maybe I'm picky or they're easy to please, not sure which it is! Either way, give this place a try, you might just like it.

Best breakfast spot I've been to in a long time! Make sure you start with the cinnamon infused coffee! The cinnamon rolls are heavenly! The stuffed waffel (husband had bacon and peanut butter) was huge and absolutely delightful! Get the homestyle potatoes, you won't be disappointed!

They welcomed our party of 5 like we were Family!! Wonderful experience,, Great service, Our waitress was da Best!! Food =Top of the line. Coffee always full. Will be back very soon!!

Really good food reasonably priced. Only one problem for me…bacon is way too salty. Staff great!

Cooks is a great place for breakfast. The food is as amazing as always and the service is great. I did not see the bottom of my coffee cup until I was ready to leave. They have added mimosas to their menu and they are fantastic. They have added other drinks as well.
