The Special Restaurant

Was given the wrong sandwich, but it was quickly replaced and I was allowed to take the other sandwich home. Fast service, friendly staff, great food.

Nice cozy little spot. Service was awesome! Our waiter, Ryker was very attentive! Very patient as well. They have a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. The prices weren't bad AT ALL for the size of our meals! I had the "everything platter". Potatoes cut into cubes and mixed with Mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers, ham, bacon and pepper jack cheese all over..omg it was awesome! My dad had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and bread slices smothered with gravy and it was humongous and tasted great! My mom had their Quiche Lorraine omelet I believe...forgot what was in it cause I was busy scarfing my food down. Cost about 34 bucks for our breakfast including coffee, 2 cokes and water. I would definitely come back!

I will definitely be back to this place. I had their Roast Beef plate. It was huge; a big pile of roast beef on mashed potatoes and bread with gravy. Absolutely delicious and this is one of the few places that serves sweet tea. Left feeling very full. The service was outstanding. You really must try this place.

I'm one who loves to find the locals only, mom and pop hole in the wall type places, especially for breakfast. This hits the spot perfectly! Servers were very friendly, considering how busy they were food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Good stick to your ribs comfort food and great portions and prices. This will definitely be our goto spot when we want this type of breakfast.

We love The Special! It’s small so there is usually a wait but never for too long. The staff are all super friendly and the service is efficient! We enjoyed a variety of delicious breakfast items, a table full all for under $20 for the two of us! It’s unreal how much food they give you for the price. Our server, Ryker, was fast, attentive and very helpful with answering our questions and fulfilling our special requests. We are also thankful for the military discount they offered our family. Hope to be dining here more often now that we are vaccinated and venturing out into the public more!

We did not like the taste here. We expected home made onion rings, the hamburger patty may be had patted out but is put in a patty formed container and squished and a weight on it no flavor French fries were nothing special I prefer steak or crinlkes staff never came back to ask about meal until we were ready to leave very disappointed

Food was good, probably the only place I could find that serve extra extra crispy french fries. Always been looking for extra crispy fries and they got that down!

The Special is appropriately named. The food is fresh and delicious… and plentiful. Been many times both breakfast and lunches sooo good. Shannon is a great server.
