I had a campfire mocha it was just right not too sweet not bitter. The service was great too. I would recommend city brew for a good cup of coffee.

Fast, friendly service. The white mocha with huckleberry frappe is my favorite. I've been sending my husband there way too much for it, but it's that good!

Cannot complete a extremely simple order.
(3 shots, and a touch of non-dairy creamer)
Also this order was $8.00 for some ungodly reason and I feel super taken advantage of.

Great friendly service! I like happy morning face!

Pros: unusually early opening hours, good workspace, reliable wifi, and decent lattes. Cons: mediocre and too loud music, excessive ventilation, 'policy of friendliness' that usually comes across a bit forced. For all of this, I am a frequent customer due to the ability to get several hours of early work done, and locations in south Missoula and west Bozeman which are otherwise sans decent coffee. City Brew is modelled on Starbucks, but with more space, fireplaces, and a less 'plastic' corporate vibe.

They get it so hot it melts the wax inside the cup. Also their prices are deceiving. The menu says 20 oz has 4 shots, 16 oz has 3, 12 oz has 2, but they charge you for anything beyond one shot. So a 2 shot 12 oz costs $1.00 more because of one "extra" shot, even though it also says extra shots are $0.75. Or the baristas learned how to rip everyone off. Higher priced coffee = more tips and if charge on top and skim that money even more tips. Drinks are super expensive that way. At least the coffee isn't burnt. Wouldn't go here because of all the wax and misadvertisement.

City Brew is a Montana coffee shop chain (with a few locations in neighboring states). There are four stores in Missoula (where I was for a day). I needed breakfast and a good internet connection. City Brew was perfect! It's a cozy, comfortable space located on a busy street (I was at the Brooks St. location) but the interior decor was inviting and perfect. The coffee (one free refill) was delicous and fresh and the breakfast sandwich was wonderful. Prices were very reasonable. Their wifi was fast and reliable. A perfect stop - met my needs!

Grate staff here and fast, friendley. I come hear a lot too. Great food and coffee too. Good prices too for your wallet and they try to lurn your name if you are a regular.
