Break Espresso

Missoula has several great local bakeries, but Break Espresso is my favorite. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that their coffee is not just as spectacular. Baristas are super friendly, but the coffee drinks themselves are not that great.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere. The coffee is great and so is the juice! and we’re obsessed with the pie.

Excellent espresso and the cinnamon buns are to DIE for. Staff is super nice and love the way the shop looks. It’s different I like it.

The service is friendly but they never understand my order although I speak clearly. The rustic tables are nice and wobbly with uncomfortable chairs, but it's still kinda cool looking. Weird characters are the plus I such a stuck up town that's getting flooded with tech boomers and gentrifying influx of yuppies. Oh and the coffee is damn good.

Amazing place to study, super kind staff, and delicious coffee. I just would love it if there was cheesecake more often because I love cheesecake and I just get so excited about eating a little slice at my favorite table and then often there is no cheesecake and I get a little sad.

I like this place for the pies and pastries. I'm just a plain coffee drinker, so the more upscale versions aren't known to me. I really do like the atmosphere. Lots of people of all ages, especially students. Always seems busy. My favorites are the blueberry muffins and Dutch apple pie. Eclectic surroundings and nice folks who work there.

We always stop for something as a special request from our daughter. Break Espresso supplied the pies for her wedding reception so now we have to bring her at least one piece of pie when we pass through on our way to visit in Denver. Delicious...they never disappoint.

Good coffee, nice place to get some work done or read or visit with friends while sipping a good cup of java. My only issue is the lack of GOOD baked goodies, especially savory treats. Too much sugar. But the joint is safe and cozy.

Great staff, good coffee...wish there were some gluten free options for baked goods...
