1889 Coffee House

I have been wanting to try this place since I moved into that area several months ago, but always drove past. Today I finally stopped by, and I am glad I did. I had a breakfast sandwich that was really, really good. The service was great, the girl was pleasant with a big smile. I plan on trying their lunch menu next. First impression was definitely a 5 star experience!

I had the best latte ever here the other day. The place was packed at the time, but my friends and I managed to find a seat upstairs near the fireplace. We could see in three directions through huge picture windows. My friend had the soup and thought it was great. I will be returning soon. Roomier than anywhere else in town that I am aware of.

Locally owned, good coffee and tasty eats what else could you possibly want? Lots of seating both on the main floor, upstairs and even outside. The food is made in-house and you can get a quick bite to go or to stay; from bakery selection to meal options. I had the rhubarb strawberry muffin and it was beyond delicious. The cold brew was nice, not too bitter and not too dark, in other words just right. They have soft drinks, tea and etc for those who don't want coffee. Plenty of parking on side streets and parking lot. The inside is nice and open with lots of natural lighting and an industrial theme with cool historical photos of Helena.They have restrooms for the customers that are clean. This is my friends go to spot and I finally got to enjoy it with her and it did not disappoint!

Ordered a white mocha iced and a huckleberry soda. The coffee was made beautifully and the huckleberry soda was good and definitely something you won't find at any other coffee shop. The customer service was incredibly friendly and wonderful. The inside of the building is beautiful and was clean when I came in for the first time.
Have also sat and tried their hot coco. Best hot coco I've ever had at a coffee shop! It's a little foamy but even the foam had wonderful flavor. It reminded me of a homemade recipe but also like a scene from a movie. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't drink coffee. Their recipe is better than any other coffee shop in town.

Outstanding breakfast burritos! Had the biscuits and gravy burrito, what a surprise. Guy taking my order said get there bacon burrito with new bacon supplier and boy was he right, best bacon ever. Latte was perfect. Thank you all, made us feel genuinely welcome.

It’s very busy but we had a good breakfast and experience. Never had a caramel macchiato, it was delicious! The ham and eggs breakfast burrito was good, too. Couldn’t find a Denny’s or IHOP so we just stopped here.

They continue to not serve raw sugar. What kind of coffee shop doesn't have raw sugar? Coffee is okay. Staff is friendly
Atmosphere is cold and gray and loud. Upstairs has nice seating areas for singles and groups. View is nice except for the dirt over rubber roofing.

My new favorite place to get a boujie coffee drink. Unlike Starbucks, they actually have all the ingredients to make my white chocolate peppermint mocha 🤍❤ plus they're a bit cheaper too but not on taste!

Just picked up a breakfast burrito and a spiced chai latte. The latte was on point and the burrito was perfect temp. bank.. bomb dank. ;) Service was fast and friendly and I am happy and smiling. :) Their drive through was pretty easy to get through and not tiny like some others. Im not a regular fancy coffee guy however, this may have me feeling different about it. Also, while I didn't go in today I should say the atmosphere is really nice there and welcoming too specially the upstairs, feels homie.

I love this place, drinks can be a bit pri y but what coffeehouse isn't am I right. Food is reasonably priced. They have crushed ice for their drinks and their chicken wild rice soup is VERY GOOD! Once again I love this place! Oh and try the fried bologna sandwich w/ fries egg..mmmmmm good
