A proper cup of coffee! Best I have had in Billings. I spent the last five nights here in town and this is the best place I have had coffee (tried 3 others). The burrito is very good and so are there baked Goods. The cake donuts are made daily and are dense.
If you love Ethiopian coffee get the pour over.

Great relaxing atmosphere. Amazing little bakery and espresso offerings that are custom and local. They make their own Kampuchea and a mean cappuccino. Perfect place to sit with a laptop and get some writing done with free WiFi and ample places to plug-in. Staff is friendly and helpful and even offered a free warm-up on my tea. Really adds to the quality of the experience. Set right next to the railroad tracks in a historic downtown brick building, the atmosphere is great for creative writing. I will definitely be back - often!

Coffee here is so flavorful and high quality.
Gentleman at the register with the "I want to believe" UFO shirt was very friendly.

Great drinks and atmosphere. We were really enjoying the ambiance until a new group arrived and asked for the music to be turned down...which the staff did...without even asking us!
Mood interrupted. Good time over. We left.
PS the music wasn't loud or offensive

Honestly wish I would have gone to Starbucks or city brew. I thought I was going to have a great experience and instead I got a bland coffee that was so over filled I couldn't even take it to my seat without spilling it all over myself and getting all sticky. The same over filling happened with both of my friends coffees as well causing a huge mess. The cashier set the bar extremely high when explaining how "exquisite there coffee" is. When in all reality it was the same thing I could have made at home. There is no option of blended coffee only hot or iced. (Both extremely bland) Save yourself the hassle of going through the struggle of spilling on your self and buying a coffee you could have made at home for the same taste at way less of a cost. This place is purely for looks. The coffee and atmosphere appear to be great however once you taste the coffee itself it completely ruined the vibe of the coffee shop. Not worth the gas or the cost of buying a coffee. Unless you love bland coffee then this is the perfect option for you.

After traveling from Florida, DC, Idaho and places in between; pastry and tea or coffee from the Annex remains one of my favorite breakfasts! The baked goods are inspiring and clearly cooked by an experienced baker. The coffee and tea selections are no nonsense perfection and the service is friendly and genuine!

Chill place. Great coffee with exceptional pastries. Try the pour over coffee!

Cool vibe and the coffee was nice and hot, but I was really unimpressed by the service and baked goods. The girl I interacted with was offputtingly rude. Latte tasted just like milk. Almond croissant had beautiful croissant pastry, but had an unfortunate strong taste of almond extract, was covered in an extremely sweet icing, and did not come filled with any marzipan, even though I asked if it did. The donut was heavy and even though it was fresh it tasted a bit dry and instead of tasting like the flavor it was supposed to be it just tasted like sugar. The bill was very expensive for such mediocrity. Maybe this is great for Billings?

Really lousy baked goods. The coffee was decent but let’s be real, you can get good coffee at tons of places. The savory croissants taste terrible. It was over the top mustard. The fancy donuts are well intentioned but poorly executed (ie chai donuts. Sounds great, tastes like cardboard). I’ve been here 3 or 4 times for their pastrys and probably won’t go back for a while to see if they can fix their menu.
Suggestion- stick to the basics. Some plain croissants. A normal glazed donut. A scone without 5 flavors.
