This place used to be great. Large display of beautifully delicious baked goods. Always got something new when I went and it was always amazing.
Now, every time I go it’s some new inconvenience. No more baked goods except for maybe two options, and if you’re in a pinch and arrive before 8am they don’t start breakfast until 8am. Even the staff changes every time I’m there.
The only consistent thing is the coffee, which is good, but overpriced when Classy and Sassy serves the same brand.
I’ve given up on this place.

If I didn’t live in Minnesota I would be here every day! Seriously the employees, atmosphere, food, and coffee are AMAZING! If you live in the area or are just driving through like me and my husband were it’s a MUST stop! Plus the coffee is very reasonably priced and such high quality:)

One of the best coffee shops! Great selection of coffee drinks, from the “usual” options to unique and seasonal flavors. Highly recommend a rosemary lavender latte! There’s always a case full of treats and baked goods, and the atmosphere is cozy but modern. Love watching the train go by, can’t wait to try the patio during the summer. Also really appreciate the easy, free parking - makes stopping by really convenient for a downtown location.

While Billings is in no shortage of coffeehouses, The Annex is something special. The bakery/coffee combo is a tried and true combination, and when have offerings such as blood orange donuts with Earl Grey Filling paired with Revel coffee then it's a match made in heaven.

New breakfast menu - all options are great here. & they make their own pumpkin spice for the season!

Definitely a unique experience. The food was an artful creation of unique and unexpected flavor. The lemon and lavender doughnut was incredible. Not the typical over sweetened lemon flavor with an after taste of lavender. Subtle but distinguished. Prices can be a little high so not somewhere I would go every day, however, I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for unique experience.

If you enjoy culinary adventures, the Annex Coffeehouse is a surprise you don't want to miss. Huge portions could easily feed two. The price matches the meal--well worth it. The online menu is a great way to allow Chef to introduce new dishes on a daily basis. I marked it down one star because I would prefer unambiguous descriptions for each dish as opposed to the poetically embellished descriptions I experienced on my visit.

Love this place! The donuts are HUGE and have really interesting flavors. I haven't tried other foods yet, so I cannot speak to those, but the donuts are yummy. They also make their own caramel, so it's hard to beat their caramel lattes!

It's a good thing I don't live in Billings or I'd spend all my time and money at this cute coffee shop. I walked in to the smell of fresh pretzels (LIKE WHAT?!!) and the cutest place - complete with a kid's corner and outdoor patio seating. I grabbed my niece a white chocolate latte and I had an almond milk latte - both were great but I almost stole hers. The flavor was delicious! They also had freshly roasted coffee beans and syrup for purchase to make your own at home.

The Annex has an urban retreat feel to it and its great for relaxing with a delicious cup of coffee. I don’t like my coffees super sweet, and they make them just right. Each coffee has just enough flavor to make me want to come back for more. I even buy their coffee beans to make lattes at home. They really care about what they make and they take pride in their craft of coffee making. They use different Montana made products which makes your experience unique as well. If you haven’t tried their scrumptious treats you are totally missing out! Their breakfast burritos are to die for, if you like croissant rolls, they have a great ham and cheese one that is worth getting too. This coffee shop is quiet enough that you can have business meetings, or coffee with friends and you won’t feel crowded. I absolutely love the Annex!
