This review only reflects the interaction I had with a person who seemed to be the owner. Friends and I were meeting here, she was rushing around cleaning, being short with her only employee working. She frustratedly walks over to our table and says, “Folks we’re closed.” My friends and we’re we’re very apologetic, we were lost in conversation. She gave us no ten minute warning, wasn’t kind when she told us she was closing. It felt like we were bugging her, but she hadn’t warned us it was close to time.
The employee behind the counter was excellent though. If I ever come back it’ll be because someone was kind, and not annoyed with me.
For the record, I don’t care that your reviews are overwhelmingly positive. You deserve the negative reviews because you’re unkind to people. You deserve bad yelp reviews if you’re a rude to customers. Bad yelp reviews reflect the fact that either someone is petty, or you’ve done something poorly.
edit again: hey lady, I think it was you in the room who was rude to my party. Stop acting like it was the staff and not you. You deserve negative reviews

Cozy and quaint this is a hidden Webster Groves charmer. Quite a full menu for a one-person operation. Will customize and add any special touches to your order. Almost like having brunch at home in the living room period a very nice Extra Touch was music on the patio under the Shaded umbrellas. Definitely will return.

The coffee was delicious! Everything else were great as well: the pastry, a cozy indoor and sunny outdoor seating. P.S. They are having a live shows with the great musicians too!

CUSTOMER SERVICE! The attitude I got when I was filling up my son’s bottle with ice water was extremely uncalled for. I understand that you didn’t like that I touched the bottle to the jar but the attitude was SO uncalled for. Also I was getting ICE WATER not just water from the tap and the slamming of the bottle on the counter was also unnerving. Please work on this I am very unhappy with this individual the other employees had wonderful service skills.

I have been looking for a small business to support with my coffee habit. I decided to try this place a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a plain latte with oat milk and the spinach and feta quiche. The coffee is so smooth and has a great flavor. The quiche was unbelievable with a soft creamy filling and a super flaky crust. I believe it comes from another local small business which is wonderful to see! I was informed that it would take a few minutes to heat up and was completely fine with that. I really appreciated the heads up! After that wonderful experience I returned again today. I only ordered the latte this time, but the quality was consistent. I believe this will be my new go to for my morning coffee and the occasional breakfast treat. I look forward to a lot of future visits with this place!

Cute and quiet. Friendly staff and skilled barista. I have the spinach quiche and coffee and it was so tasty. The quiche was crispy outside and creamy inside.

Delicious oat milk lattes. Cozy atmosphere. Feels like a cozy living room. Great selection of outdoor seating too!

Cute setting, food is pretty good, only a little inconsistent.

Present: I still love this cafe! Yummy drinks and enough food selections for having brunch or lunch here. Breakfast is always nice. The atmosphere is so cute and cozy, like a cottage.

Very conscious of covid-19! I like the walk up window and sanitizer next to the card reader and register. The quiche was awesome (they're from Pie Oh My), and I also got to enjoy the almond joy mocha. I'll be back!

Love it! Lots of coffee choices & yummy seasonal flavors! We stop by every week before a class at Webster University down the street.
