Loved this place. Very unique in its style and decor, and both the food and drinks were delicious. Lots of outdoor seating and there was live music playing at lunchtime today. I had a vanilla bean scone and chocolate covered strawberry latte. SO good! If I lived in St. Louis I would find myself here regularly.

The outside betrays the cute intimate and warm english cottage interior. The selection, prices and service are not to be missed. The baked goods are a bit firm and dry but still nice and there are lots of private spaces to have quiet relaxing moments alone or in a group. Well worth the visit.

I had a Turtle Coconut Latte, ham and cheese croissant, a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on English muffin, and a spicy pork tamale.
All were very good.
Service was great and quick.
Musician named Jon Dittmer was playing music and it was fantastic!

I can’t stop thinking about the coffee I had here recently and am dying to swing by again!
Took my daughter here for a Mommy-Daughter coffee house date. I got the hot latte made with oat milk and an extra shot of espresso, with the added Pistachio syrup. It was DELICIOUS! Coffee was strong, full bodied and balanced so not acidic, not burnt.
The pistachio syrup tasted Exactly like fresh pistachios, and not sugary sweet with almost no detectable pistachio flavor like that nasty Starbucks junk. It was the perfect, potent complement flavor so I could still enjoy the taste of the actual coffee.
My daughter enjoyed her lavender tea latte.
Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Next time we’ll go on a warm day to sit outside in the sun and order tamales or something from their scrumptious food/pastry menu too.
Barista was very friendly and polite.

The two workers Sol (they/them) and Addie (she/her) are always so welcoming and ready to answer any questions. I find it hard to dine in unfamiliar places sometimes, but they are always so kind and make time to accommodate and grab anything I need despite noon rush. I always hear them singing along to music or making friendly chat with customers. These employees are just so sweet, it brightens my day when I see them in!

I am a regular customer at garden cafe, I go almost every day and the staff even know my order but almost every time the woman who owns it is there she is incredibly rude and makes me wonder why I give them my business. She has made me leave feeling so unwelcome wanting to cry numerous times. Once, screaming at me for bringing in outside food when it was my first time visiting. This was before there was a large sign on the door and I wasn't aware that was a rule. While the owner screamed at me and told me to get out, the college-student working politely told me that they don't allow outside food and asked if I could wait outside. It shocked me that a young, much less experienced worker could have more grace than the owner who claims to value customer service and making everyone feel welcome top priorities. Another time, coming up and moving my schoolwork around. Telling me "just because i'm not here for the music doesn't mean others aren't" and "this isn't a study hall," asking me to share the area I was sitting in. This was in front of 5-10 people, leaving everyone staring awkwardly at me not knowing what to do. I felt ostracized and no one came to sit on the two-cushion couch, as it's not the type of area you share with strangers. There were other adults working with big headphones on sitting at tables of two with extra seating as well. She treats me poorly because I am young and thinks very little of me clearly. I have not seen her do things like this to older people doing their work. I love the staff of garden cafe, the homey feeling to it as well. I've always felt that I didn't want to give my business to them because of my interactions with the owner and I'm very sad that I don't even want to go anymore because of this bitter woman. I love doing my homework there and have been recommending it to all my friends but I will be taking my business to other local coffee shops. I encourage others to support other coffee shops that follow through with what they stand for.
*All of these negative reviews are about one women, who attempts to deflect or challenge anyone who calls her out in reviews. You would hope that this feedback would lead her to change her behavior and be kind to her customers. Unfortunately she is still rude to customers and does not change her actions despite saying she values

I came to Garden Cafe for the first time today, and while I've had treats from here before, today was my first time in! Both counter workers were phenomenal, giving me recommendations, and the atmosphere here is lovely- I'll be back to come work quietly in the sunlight and green spaces that have been created. The Butterbeer latte was a delight.
Note, I was not utilizing my wheelchair today, but I believe the entrance would be wheelchair accessible due to zero entry, but you'd probably want staff assistance to get the chairs in the cafe moved. I did not check the restroom for accessibility.

Pretty cool and Cozy place. Very nice people and the vibe is unique and layback. Coffee is pretty good. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely Cafe! And they have live music on Sundays so it's a great place to sit, relax and enjoy a nice cup of coffee.
