My wife and I have now been there twice. The 1st time we both ordered the breakfast sandwich on croissant. We both agreed it was very good as were the breakfast potatoes that came with it. This time, she ordered the short rib and white cheddar grilled cheese sandwich and I got the short rib breakfast stack. Both were delicious. Both times we have been there, the service has been fantastic as well. The only knock I can come up with so far is the cinnamon roll I got, while it tasted fantastic, was extremely dry. But this is a place that everyone should be eating at regularly.

It's not common for me to leave a poor review and it's not because it's a bad place. This was our second visit and I was excited to try more items off their menu. So I was disappointed to walk in and find the place full with many people waiting so we just ordered drinks to go. By the time our drinks came a table opened so we chose to stay and order breakfast. That was when things got weird. The owner came and told us we couldn't sit there unless we got back in line to order food and that we would have to give our table to people who came in after us. Not a very friendly situation.

If you're from Miami, and craving for a colada(cuban coffee), grab it from here. 100% authentic.

Very good experience. First time here. Excellent food reasonably pricing. Great place for a morning brunch! The eggs Benedict is my go to choice. We will definitely be back!

Called the cafe today to place a carryout order. John took my order and from the care he took on the phone my hopes were high that this was going to be a good experience and it definitely was! When we arrived to pick up our order they were very busy but our order was ready and packaged perfectly. We had the Shrimp, mango, avocado salad, springrolls with peanut sauce and chicken salad croissant with homemade chips. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Thank you for giving your customers such quality food, you can tell you care about your business and the whole experience was very refreshing. We will be back soon and often

Love this place! New favorite breakfast stop when we come to St. Charles each year 😁 John was awesome and super helpful! They even had gluten free toast!

What a wonderful place to eat! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about their food. The servings were generous and so tasty, down to the homemade chips. We were too full to try desert but they looked scrumptious. I HIGHLY recommend Frontier Perk Cafe.

This is a small family owned coffee shop. They have tables inside as well as outside along historic Main St in St Charles. Great breakfast foods, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters etc. We are.lucky to have this cafe here in our area.

My boyfriend and I went here after a Dead & Co concert (so you can imagine how badly we needed some good breakfast food and coffee) and we truly could not have chosen a better spot. Nadia was a delight and the food was perfect. Anytime we pass through here, we will absolutely be coming back. Also if you like matcha lattes, this place has the best one I’ve ever had. All the stars!

Broadway Oyster Bar has nothing on Ms. Ashley's shrimp poboy!! By far the best in the St. Louis area. The short rib grilled cheese comes in a close second!! Definitely a MUST try when your down on Main St. Also, John makes a killer cup of coffee!
