Frontier Perk Cafe

Good. Like really really good. Like "this is way better than it has any right to be" good.

I stopped by the other day for breakfast meeting and on a whim got the avocado toast with eggs. It was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. Totally blown away. Went back at lunch because it was so good and got the Cuban sandwich. One of the best Cubans I've ever eaten in my life.

Suffice it to say I'll be going back frequently for breakfast and lunch. Simply wonderful.

This is my new favorite place to get food period. Food is the perfect balance of flavorful, good presentation, and just an overall good experience. They have given me no reason to complain and despite having so many options everything is executed so excellently. Wether you are coming for the coffee, food, or deserts it's all great and they have a way of making classics their own.

The avocado toast is great and the staff are friendly. But I had to dock them because I'm one of those weirdos who wants real, actual maple syrup with pancakes. I specifically asked before ordering if they have actual maple syrup, not "breakfast syrup" and was assured that they do, only to find out when the fed came that it was, in fact, not maple syrup. Please know what your products are, and be better by getting real maple syrup.

We were doing some shopping on Main Street and popped in here to get Hubby a coffee. Ordering process was quick and easy at the counter, the employee was friendly and helpful. Hubby ordered a regular with cream and said it was very good (I don't drink coffee, cant share my own opinion). The pricing was also very reasonable from what I've experienced other places.

The food menu looked really good and they advertise that their food is homemade which definitely had me drooling... we weren't looking to eat but would like to try it at another time.

Be aware that this is a VERY SMALL storefront with only a couple of tables. Everyone had a seat when we came in but I can see where there could be a wait involved during busy times.

When we visited it was quite busy. The wait staff was organized and worked through the rush. Note there are tables outside just west of the cafe. For drinks, I would get them to go and find a nice park down the block.

Stopped in for breakfast this a.m. So glad we did! Breakfast croissant sandwich was delicious. Everything cooked to order and fresh! All of the employees are so nice!

Small cafe tucked away on Historic Main Street in St. Charles. The food and coffee are very good, and the service is fast and cheerful. Today was the second time my boyfriend and I came in, and we have NO plans to stop! Alex's Breakfast Tacos are delicious! I think we're getting addicted!

Amazing! Food is a bit pricey, but its top quality, and super fresh. Got the cuban sandwich, and wifey got the fish tacos and a blueberry muffin. SUPER delicious! Muffin was a bit crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. One of the best I've ever had.

This place is a gem! Had the Chicken Pot Pie, delicious. Then had the short rib sandwich, delicious, and the bread was amazing, perfectly toasted. Salad was excellent. Definitely recommend supporting this local business. I was I was living in STL again, I'd be a regular. Only negative, was my mocha had no mocha flavor and gooey butter cake was not sweet enough. Don't care though, gimme quality food and I'm there. Oh, I went twice. Didn't eat all of that at once. Hahaha! 😝

My daughter and I went for breakfast and fell in love with this place. I will definitely be back and bring more people with me.
