The atmosphere, the people serving and the food was outstanding. It was so good, we had to go again before coming back to St Louis. If you are ever in Springfield, MO please give them a try!!!!!!!!!!

Took an hour to get food, wasn't busy but waitress took two set down breaks one before serving us and another group. Each time she gave a menu she disappeared for 25 minutes. Will not go back, second chance. Last time people walked while I waited for service. Food not bad but snooty disoriented waitress was awful.

Worst service I have ever received! Waitress were extremely rude! Saying things like we will get to you when we get to you, and when they didn't give us syrup and went to get it couldn't get the waitress so went to the counter and was told why didn't you get it yourself. When I asked to speak with the manager it just so happened to be our waitress I explained that the food was like warm at best and when I told her the service from The waitresses from the minute we walked in the door was bad her response was well we're really busy, more than half the restaurant was empty. I told her there is a difference in busy and polite. She said sorry they were busy and would adjust our bill that was not the point!

Great food, a little slow on service but the place was packed. Great prices for everyone's meals. Will be back for mid week.

So my father used to LOVE going here prior to 2014, his favorite wattress was lady named Carla, dunno if she works here still or not? My father went blind and he would go hear every few days and she took great care of him, he loved this place and the food and staff. He passed away in 2014 and I couldn't go back to this place because it reminded me to much of my father, recently this year (2020) I finally went back, a few times now and let me tell you it's amazing! Every meal I've had is wonderful and tastes great, staff is still great, although I didn't see Carla there my father's favorite wattress, but the current staff is amazing! Definitely will be continuing to go hear with my family, I'm glad I decided to go back after all these years. Highly recommend.

We had to seat ourselves after we stood there for 5 minutes. She brought me cold coffee, I had to hunt down straws for my 3 kids cups with kids, all the hi chairs are broke. There were only 3 tables with customers at them and it took her 25 minutes to even ask us what we wanted to eat. One of the waitress spoke absolutely no English. And she sat everything she brought to our table down in front of my 11 month old son. I had to hand everything out!
And we havent even got our food yet. This should be good...I'll let you know were done! So the food was suprising really good except my husband got the American Way Skillet and said it was tasteless and my biscuit and gravy were barely warm.
SERVICE SUCKED BAD!!!

The waitress was nice, the food was fair and the hostess must have had a bad morning, no thanks, won't return

We went for carrot cake and were told there was none. The waitress was extremely indifferent and did not seem to care if we stayed. We left. I have been eating at this restaurant for years. The food has always been good. Always had carrot cake before and I have never encountered such a rude waitress at this restaurant. It will be a while before I return.

I've ordered twice now from this restaurant, and both times were terrible. I ordered my food to be delivered through a third party, and maybe they treat their carry out food differently, but in any case it was horrid. The order was all wrong (for instance, I ordered fries and got diced potatoes) and the steak I ordered medium rare was cooked so well done that it was like eating shoe leather. In fact, shoe leather might have had more flavor to it. Either way, it was a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend this place. I gave it another chance after the first experience was terrible and they still are just as bad.
