Went there today ordered a skillet no mushrooms came out with no cheese was bland and has the waitresses kid that was like 7 years old seating customers and taking drink orders wth is that's a violation with the health department and labor laws we will not be back and should be in trouble with that never go back been there plenty of times before will not return

Blue haired waitress had a horrible attitude from the moment we walked in the door. We were the only people in the restaurant and she never bothered to check on us. The final straw was her giving me my food without silverware and when I asked she acted like it was an inconvenience and threw the silver ware on the table. Other than that, the food was pretty good.

Definitely wasn't the worst food, we wasn't super impressed with it though. Our waitress was pretty nice though.I had breakfast, my husband had a Reuben and our daughter had the chicken strips.

Went to eat breakfast there this morning. Our waitress Jessica social distance us at a booth About 15 minutes before I was done eating the older waitress did not she sat a couple in between the two booths that we're already taken. Needless 2 say I will not be back, what happened to social distancing. The food was great but when that lady set that booth in between the two that were already taken. What happened to the 6-foot distancing? I was ready to get up and leave and Monday morning I will be making a call to the health department.

So me and the hubs eat here everytime we are in Springfield. The service is impeccable. And the staff very friendly. Alana is our favorite waitress. I especially enjoy the burrito enchilada as the cook certainly does a tremendous job in making this. Couldn't ask for better service or food in Springfield.

Sign at the door that masks were required and when we went in only six people seated so we decided to stay seated probably 12 foot away from everybody. Waitress was wearing masks we got our food which was very good as usual but then a couple came in the door without mask on they walked up to them I said hi and seated them. They were not wearing masks even without food or drink at the table. This is against our city ordinance and so feel like they were not abiding by it. Will not be back until pandemic is gone

Excellent food! Our waitress was adorable and awesome! Great little diner. Interior isn’t modern, but that’s one thing I loved about it. Can’t beat the prices, especially for the amount of food you get! Will definitely eat here again as we go through Springfield!

This is by far the very BEST Ziggie's I have ever went in! The people are very friendly. The dinning room was very homey. And by that I mean "Inviting" not cold feeling like a high school cafeteria. The cooks were quick, the food was hot. And our eggs were cooked perfect! (Over easy)

Great food and large portions. I had the hearty breakfast. Corn beef hash, bacon, sausage, 3 eggs, hash browns, and biscuit and gravy. Whew what a meal!

The breakfast was good, about what you would expect at a truck stop. The service completely sucked. We came in from the hotel side so no one seated us for fifteen minutes. It took another fifteen minutes to get our menus and we had two toddlers with us. One of the toddlers knocked over a water and spilled it, I did what I could with napkins as the wait staff walked by over and over. Someone finally showed up to help me clean it up, they used a dirty looking dish towel. The waitress showed up with our food as we were still cleaning up the spill and she looked completely pissed that she had to wait. Getting in, feeding my family and getting out took nearly two hours. If you are staying at the Lamplighter, the breakfast there is better and you don't have to wait.
