Friend and I ordered lunch from Pickleman's downtown today. It took 2 hours to get our order. The poor driver was sent to the wrong location because the delivery address was not verified. Then, an hour later after placing the order it finally arrived, but the whole order was not there; a salad was missing. The driver (not his fault at all, he just delivers what is told is ready and correct to be delivered) went back to the store to get the salad. About an hour later, the other salad came, while i was on the phone with the store. I asked if there would be any refund or anything due to all of the trouble we had experienced today receiving our order and was told to let them know the next time we placed an order and we would receive a free salad... Again, not the delivery man's fault. It should have not taken 2 hours to receive a correct order.
However, the food was great, as usual, just need to be more efficient in the taking an order and delivery aspect of business.

Consistently poor service in Springfield from one of my favorite old spots in Columbia. At my last visit, the staff forgot my order - twice - and had to make it fresh after a 30 minute wait involving four trips to the counter. And I'd like to think that it's just the in-store experience, but the last time I got delivery from this location about three months ago, my order was wrong, my food was cold and my soda was about two thirds full.
So if I get a Buffalo Chicken Pizza craving, I'll head north on I-44 to Columbia, where this franchise knows how to actually run a fast casual restaurant.

I love this place not only for the amazing sandwiches but also the awesome staff that makes it a great experience. Good luck finding a better place to get a perfect sandwich and killer service. 6/5 stars

I would normally rate them at 5 stars. But I got take out there today, and while the food is still amazing, they didn't give me all of my order, and no napkins. I asked three times if my 3 sides of chipotle ranch were in the bag, and was assured they'd put them in there. I got home, and surprise! only one of the three I paid for had made it in the bag.

Very fast and yummy sandwich shop. Although they always seem understaffed, it's a good choice for a quick to-go fresh sandwich. Wheat bun is delicious and they tailor the toppings for you. Salads are large enough for a meal. Great portion sizes for the price.

Food tastes great. Pizza was amazing and good deal for price. Sandwiches tasted great but were over priced for size. 2 sandwiches and 1 cheese pizza, delivered was $34 we gave 40. Thought sandwiches would be a lot bigger... For $35 bucks.

I have been to this Pickleman's many times and had no issues. It wasn't the most friendly place in the world but the food was fresh and it was served quickly so it didn't bother me in the slightest. I recently moved to an apartment within their delivery range, 2.1 miles to be exact, and it took over an hour for my food to be delivered. It was barely warm and when I called to cancel the order the delivery girl, who was very friendly and apologetic, was knocking on my door so the guy just hung up on me when I said oh she is here. I don't plan on getting food here again anytime soon. A simple apology would have made it completely fine, but being hung up on and no remorse from the manager on the phone was very frustrating.

There was a spider in my salad - This is my one and only time eating at the walnut location. I have had good experiences at the other location in Springfield. I was eating my salad and there was a spider in there. I did not finish my meal at this point. When I went back later to get a refund I asked to speak with a manager. The lady at the register told me she was the manager. I explained the situation and showed her the picture of the spider in my food. She very casually asked me what I wanted. I asked her for a refund provided her the remaining sandwich from my meal as well as the receipt from earlier. She seemed like I was asking an awful lot of her. It took her about 10 minutes to get the cash register open and refund my money. After she returned the money to me she offered to make me something else to eat but in a very demeaning and disrespectful way. This manager clearly did not feel like I had a major problem in the way I did. Perhaps it's just a reflection of that individual. I would have expected at least an apology from somebody. I never did get that apology though. I also watched her ring out a few other customers and she had a terrible attitude with every customer she dealt with as well as the staff in the back.

Just tried this place for the first time and they didn't disappoint! The tomato bisque was amazing and the salads are so fresh! I like this place better than Panera and will definitely be ordering again.

The food is typically good I order A LOT because they are open late but they started just throwing the bread in the bag not wrapped nothing when they send it out that can't be sanitary when I talked to the manager they said the owners made that choice but I will say the food is good even when it's not always right
EDIT: It has been 9 months from my previous review and google wont let me write another one but they have fixed the not wrapping the food thing however orders are still getting messed up frequently however tonight I spoke with a manager named Tiana who was extremely apologetic and was willing to fix our problems and explain to me on why it occurs I'm thankful that they finally have a management team and employees who are willing to do their job!
