One of my new favorite places in Springfield! I love the effort to be authentic and have inspired Latin foods. The coffee is delicious and unique, and I love their food too! I like that they have a filling menu for breakfast or lunch, but also lighter options.

The cafe itself is super cute and cozy, it’s a great place to sit and get work done- and I’ll definitely make use of the patio on my next visit.

Do it. Just do it.

I'm from Florida, here visiting family. I find that being from such a heavily service and tourist oriented place, my standards for food and service seem to be unreasonable in other parts of the country. HOWEVER, This spot right here is the MOVE for real. Excellent everything. Super cute. I'm so grateful we went here.

On a trip to Springfield, ran across this place. Wow.. what a happy event. Food is awesome. Had the Chichaloo Burrito (breakfast burrito) and a hot Mexican coffee. Both wonderful and served in traditional plate/mug. Clean. Delicious. Please give this place a visit. Highly recommend.

One of my new favorites for sure!!! I ordered the Ibarra Chocolate Latte and it was amazing. I prefer less sweet drinks and this one was PERFECT for me. If you like things sweet you may need to add sugar. So excited to have this new family-owned operation in town.

Fantastic coffee shop!

We visited at 9am on a Saturday morning. We got Mexican Mocha, Chai Latte, Chichaloco Burrito, Sincronizada Quesadilla, and Nutella Concha. First off the food was AMAZING! The burrito and quesadilla was full of flavor. The coffee was equally amazing. Had a good coffee flavor with chocolate in my mocha. The Chai Latte also tasted better than most places in Springfield. The Concha are AMAZING. Got another to go on our way out. Will be back to try the rest of the menu!

The staff was friendly and super helpful. Answered any questions we had and were very kind.

The only negative thing I could say is the place is very small. Still, don't let that prevent you from visiting and trying the food and coffee. I would say go with the expectations of getting drinks and food to go. Then feel lucky if there is a place to sit. Again, don't let that prevent you from visiting. The more you visit the more they can save up for a bigger location.

Overall, AMAZING food and delicious coffee. I'll be going back to try the whole menu! You won't regret your visit here! The place is small but worth the food and drinks! Go give it a try!

16oz iced churro latte. I really wanted to love this latte but here is my feedback on it: the straw is much too long - this is the largest sized latte you can order and I just really hated the drinking experience because of how small the cup was and how long the straw was in comparison. The drink itself was 2/5, very heavy milk flavor, lacked sweetness which I tend to prefer so it tasted overall watered down. This was my drive thru experience. If you take away the aesthetic flare of the interior decor you’re left with a mediocre coffee. I will try again though and maybe get a good item next time.

I so wanted to love everything about this place, but unfortunately it fell short. I ordered torta M and received the torta A. It was an to go order to eat on lunch break. It had no napkins or plastic forks. Most of the meat had fallen out and unfortunately I had to use my hands to pick it back up for the pic. Just dried out meat with cucumbers and onions. Not impressed.

I love this place, the tostadas and tamales are awesome! Just very small and little place to sit.

There is a whimsical “Little Coffee Shop” called El Cafecito on South Campbell Road in Springfield, Missouri. If you blink you will pass it, but keep trying until you find it.

They even have a drive through if your in a hurry. I meet fellow foodie Shawn Kraft and local restaurateur for some delicious delights.

I also had the please of talking to Co Owner Shanie Valdez who owns w her Husband and they also are part owners of El Charro Ozark: by Walmart.

The goal is to have a little coffee shop that serves delicious savory foods, baked goods and let’s not forget the coffee ☕️

Shawn ordered a “Cafe Olle de Olla” which they reduce in a pan to order w Christmas Spice, interesting and delicious 😋

He also ordered the Tortas Ahogadas $11 which is Shanie’s favorite sandwich. It is a baguette and pulled pork w delicious sauces.

I had a ”Lavender London Fog” and a custom made Tostada w Chorizo, Tomatoes, Avocado and a Chimmichurri Sauce. (Don’t think a traditional Argentina Chimichurri, this is pink and I am assuming mayo or Queso Fresco based)

Almost every seat was packed when I went in so I bet they will expand soon 🔜 Shanie says her dream is to have a place like First Watch except with her theme. I am all for more Mexican Breakfast in the area 😉

PS to First Watch, I would eat there more if I could have breakfast for dinner, one of my faves 😆

If you get a chance come visit this wonderful little secret spot that is becoming not so secret anymore 😝
