Brick & Mortar Coffee

This is mainly a place to taste and buy coffee beans, they do have a small menu of excellent coffee and very good service. I would recommend stopping by for a quick cortado and if you have a grinder be sure to grab some beans.

Brick & Mortar is a fresh new perspective for the Springfield coffee community. The owners and employees are VERY knowledgable and can answer any questions you may have, while crafting you the finest traditional beverages with their in-shop roasted beans. Their homemade cold press goes really well with a hot day and they have a variety of merchandise to sell. Phil Cook, Jonathan Putnam, and Audre Langebartel have spent a combined few decades in the coffee industry and REALLY KNOW THEIR STUFF. This is my favorite shop in town and is highly recommended for a morning pick-me-up, a relaxed afternoon study session, a cupping or tasting event, or even the occasional latte art throwdown. I recommend the barista's choice--whoever is on the bar will give you some great beverages.

This coffee is very different than all the others—It’s like Black Sheep for coffee. It’s so smooth and delicious! Get a cup and take a bag home with you!

So good! Got the barista's choice which was a V60, Kyoto Coldbrew and espresso from their Slayer machine! I was so impressed by each one! Mad vibes!
