This is a great local dine in or outside coffee house. Very friendly staff. Usually have entertainment of some sort on the weekends in the summer. Tasty treats. Way better than anything you can get from the big wig coffee shops. Nothing like the hometown coffee house experience.

I love Keen Bean. The coffee is amazing. The baked goods are amazing. The service is good. The ambiance is good.

I was a little disappointed with some mid-pandemic things but those are resolved so I've removed that part of the review & given KB the 5 stars they totally earned.

Btw the chicken salad stuffed baguette is delicious!

We attended a baby shower today and I had never been to Keen Bean. The atmosphere was great and such a friendly barista! The coffee was better than any other coffee shop! 😁🙌 Also, the catering was delicious! Highly recommended!

Wonderful little venue. Very cosmopolitan and exceptionally comfortable. The staff is very helpful and appear to really enjoy their work. The food and the coffee is extremely good and the selection is equal. My wife home roasts coffee and each time I visit Mt. Vernon, I purchase some of their green coffee. It too lives up to the five stars. It's worth the exit off the interstate and if you're ever in the area, you should stop in. You'll love it too.

What a cute place! Coffee, food, great service! I was surprised at the atmosphere; not sure what to expect but it was very cool. I am not from Mount Vernon, but I would drive there on a pretty day to have lunch and a coffee. Small business beats Starbucks any day! Shop/eat local!

Nice little place. I've enjoyed every drink I've purchased and I enjoy having a cigar on the covered outdoor patio

Excellent choice of coffees. The salads and the quiches are great. Outdoor seating also available, as well as drive through. Pleasant, rustic decor and friendly service.
