Nice atmosphere, different flavored coffee. If you find Starbucks too strong and "skunky" (for lack of better words) you'll love Keen Bean!

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to taste anything or interact with employees. This review is solely based on the wait time in the drive thru. We were driving through town on our way to South Missouri for an appointment at noon. We were running ahead of schedule and thought we’d stop for a coffee. Twenty minutes later we were stuck in the drive thru and still had 3 cars ahead of us. Once you’re in there you can’t get out. Finally I had an opportunity to get out of line and get back on the road so we wouldn’t be late for our appointment. I can’t imagine why anyone would regularly choose to sit in that drive thru. Ridiculous amount of time to wait and never even made it to the window.

Nice find on a roadtrip for good coffee! A bit of a 1990's "Friends" vibe inside with a great patio space outside. Staff was fun and informative, happy to help and fast. Will definitely stop here again!

This is my favorite place in Mount Vernon. Their staff is very awesome. Everyone here is really nice, polite, friendly, and very helpful. Their coffee and eats are also very delicious. They even have wine and beer!

I don’t want to forget to mention that they sell all my favorite local goods too! I thought I could only get this stuff at apple butter makin’ days. The keen bean is a very special place.

From Seattle area and I own my coffee shop. This was a great stop, nice atmosphere the gooey bar was amazing and the girls working were very nice. I didn't try the food but it looked really good and lots of people did have food. The coffee is good smooth rich tasting, they did not overly sweeten my drink. Not far off the main interstate and easy off and back on. Clean and well taken care of.

The people who work here are mixed bag, most are really nice, some are ambivalent and a few are outright rude. I have been lucky to see mostly kind folks. The atmosphere in the place is so relaxed, I rather enjoy sitting and people watching while sipping my coffee. They have local art hanging (for sale), great artists and local wines, honey, soap, crafts and whatnot. I LOVE their Snickerdoodle blend coffee, made in house! I take it home to make my own lattes every morning. I haven't tried the food yet, but I have heard good things about it and they also serve beer and wine. This is my regular coffee house, think Starbucks, but less money, with a local taste and eclectic flair.

Love the online order system, don’t live close but love their coffee. Excited to try the at home cold brew.

Keen Bean is a great local family owned company. Their coffee is fantastic and so are their muffins (blueberry and morning glory are my two favorites). Big chain shops can't compete with the quality of beans roasted in house by the owner.

On top of the fantastic menu items, the staff are so friendly and helpful. You feel welcome the second you walk in the door.
