Living Room Coffee & Kitchen

Love the light and coziness of this coffee shop. Chill background music. Great breakfast options that are not outrageously priced. Will be back for sure.

The service was good and the coffee was adequately priced they had a ton of options which was nice. I thought the coffee was good it was really strong.
For how busy they were the service was really fast. They had a ton of seating.

No complaints! Latte was great, food was yummy, good music was playing, employees are nice, and they have a decent number of vegetarian and vegan options.

Living Room is one of my favorite neighborhood coffeehouses! The coffee is delicious and their food is GREAT! This is a great spot to come for a bite, just to grab a coffee, or to hangout and read or do work for a bit. It is cozy and inspiring to be here.
Try the salted honey latte - it is so good!
Only downfall is that you can get whiffs of the meat shop next door at times, which is a bummer since all of Living Room's goodies and coffees smell lovely.

This place is a great neighborhood spot. Their coffee unfortunately has gotten too dark and roasty. Wish they went back to a lighter roast.

Probably the best espresso in the city. And yes, I know its not in the city proper - its maplewood - but its still probably the best espresso in the city.

If you're looking at the photos of food and wondering if its worth it, let me tell you, it is. We had the southwesty and the spinach artichoke sandwiches 🤌 delicious. So damn good. Our lattes were also excellent. I highly recommend this café.

I went there for brunch and the service and food was amazing. I got the Kelly salad and a latte. The kitchen was slightly backed up, but the staff ran the restaurant with grace. I will definitely be back!

(update 2021) This place continues to over-deliver. They adapted to the pandemic beautifully, still allowing outdoor seating (and fire tables for the winter), they've added new delicious things to the menu (buttermilk biscuit sandwiches and roasted pepper handpies) and while the pdx sandwich is gone (RIP) I barely even notice any more.

As ever, the staff is what really makes a place. And the folks of the living room are some of the best around. From friendly service, well made drinks, never getting our order wrong, and calling if some part of our order is in question, the continue to feel like people who care about their craft.

I highly recommend this place.

(2019) It's small but it's mighty. Good coffee, good tea (small selection), and the kitchen puts out some very tasty food. Staff has always been friendly and prices are fair.
