The coffee flavors are amazing and very creative. I absolutely loved the Bananas Foster and have come back a couple times to get it. Sometimes they can be pretty busy and it doesn't always seem like enough people are working but it's a really cozy, quaint atmosphere and it always smells great in here from the coffee. They also sell a wide array of different coffee-related things and also food, as well - though I've never tried any. They even sell crocheted items! Great place, but closed on Sundays and not open very late on Saturday.

I do really like this coffee shop! I've come here with a friend twice now and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Customer service is friendly and wonderful, the food is great and so are the drinks! I think last time I got almond butter and honey on toast with lavender mocha or something. Unusual sounding but oh so good!

This place is amazing! It's a little coffee shop in downtown Lee's Summit that is very charming. It is across from the train (hint the name Whistle Stop) and the people that work their are wonderful. Not only are they friendly, but they know my wife and I by name and what we order. That attention to detail is what makes it a great place to go to enjoy a cup of coffee, get a bite to eat, or both. I recommend trying their Ice Toddy to drink.

Great little locally owned coffee shop in Historic Downtown Lee's Summit across from the L.S. Chamber of Commerce. Perfect for a quick meeting. Usually busy and lots of people in the morning. The staff and owner are friendly and make you feel welcome. I recently had an almond latte and cinnamon rolls. Excellent taste and affordable.

We were visiting a friend. I wanted a cup of coffee from a local establishment. I looked this place up. I bought a pound of beans for my friend. She loved the coffee. I did too. I also bought a latte and a protein smoothie. It was delicious.

Coffee and atmosphere good but wait is longer than a Starbucks line on a Monday morning. Don't go on a Saturday unless you have a good 20-30 minutes just to get a cup of joe.

I wish I would of had more time to sit and enjoyed my coffee. I was in a hurry and needed some liquid motivation. I'm pretty particular about my coffee, and on this particular day it was just Ok. This looks like a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or snack, catch up on some work or social media. Located in beautiful downtown Lee's Summit, very safe. You can do some shopping, there are lots of little shops nearby, and you'll likely see a train or two.

Great customer service. I ordered waffles and after waiting an employee comes out and tells me that the waffle iron bit the dust. They apologized, we laughed, and they quickly offered anything else on the menu and then a coupon for later use. They were super sweet and apologetic for something that they couldn't have forseen. Can't wait to go back and try the waffles.

We are very particular about our coffee. Whistle Stop Is pretty good not the absolute best in the world however I would say better than most small coffee shops that buy bag coffee and throw Torrani syrup in. We find ourselves here all the time since we moved from downtown KC. The breakfast sandwiches are out of this world you will not be disappointed!

I'm out in the Lee's summit area about once a week and I make sure to stop in here at whistle stop every week. The shop is small and cozy with a light wood decor so it always feels warm and inviting. The coffee though is the biggest reason I make sure to stop in. I've tried something new each time and they have always been fantastic. The customer service has always been friendly and full of smiles.
