I visited yesterday for the first time and ordered my usual everywhere I go, an iced chai with no ice. Is it weird? Yes. Do I understand that ice takes up space in a cup? Yes. However, never in my life have I been to a coffee shop that charged me $4+ for a drink that is mostly milk to not even fill the 20oz cup up half way. I maybe got 8oz of liquid. All because I don't want ice? What little I did get of the drink was good and I'd love to continue to support local, but under no circumstance will I pay that much for not even half of a full cup.
Edited after response: I’m not sure how I was supposed to know that considering it was my first time there. I’ve never had to specify that at any other coffee shop I’ve been to.

Had early coffee and catch up chat with a friend. Friend didn't feel outrageous and got regular coffee. I got a latte made with heavy whipping cream and a dash of sugar free hazelnut.
There are booths, hightables and even larger table for a group of 5 or more.
The service is warm and friendly.
You can purchase bags of coffee beans, flavors and other related goodies for fellow coffee addicts:)
You can also get very light breakfast food options, think muffins, croissants, sandwiches etc
Quaint, characteristic place that serves delicious coffee. What more could 2 people ask for on a sunny Saturday a.m? 🌞

Nice clean place with friendly staff. Good pastries and coffee.

Absolutely the worst coffee I have ever tasted. Having sampled coffee all over the KC metro and the world, from Paris to Bogota, I can say this is worse that Folgers. The drinks were so syrupy that the flavors didn’t blend. They tasted chemically and took nearly 45 min to get five coffees with three baristas working. They weren’t busy at all. Do not be fooled by their nice decor and location. Go for the food but stay very far away from the barista stand or else you will be as disappointed as I was.

Food is good. The 6 teenage girls behind counter are so loud we had to move to be able to hear each other. More like party time for them than a job.

A very quaint coffee shop situated just off the main strip in downtown Lee's Summit. A cozy interior with a sizable menu makes this a nice spot to take a 5-minute or a 30 minute break and just unwind with a nice cup of coffee. This place does some nice latte creations that keep me coming back to try something new. Also a nice range of merch and coffee bags to take the flavors home.

This place is wonderful, very cozy feel but still has a "party" atmosphere. I use the term loosely but it's just exciting when you walk in. All these people laughing and talking. I love the decorations too, especially the sign on the outside of the bathroom door. Everything is so clever and the employees have great customer service. Also if you like pistachios I'd recommend their Green Tea Frap, it taste just like a smoothie version of a pistachio muffin. I tried their cinnamon rolls too. It was good but you could tell it had been sitting there a while. But yes, I'm definitely going back one day.

This is a well run coffee house with delicious, fresh roasted coffee. The staff is great. My only negative is that the flavored drinks tend to be too sweet. So, I request my drinks at 1/2 syrup. Just my preference.

This is literally one of my favorite restaurants. I go here every time I visit Lee's Summit!

Coffee is great. The Starter breakfast sub is delicious! Focaccia bread is amazing! Friendly. I will keep coming back.
