Whistle Stop Coffee & Mercantile

May be a one off, but their mocha tasted super sweet and didn't have much coffee in it... Had to throw it away and get an Americano. Tables were also pretty wobbly, guys! I will say the environment is very cozy and nice!

I truly love Whistle Stop. They have a great selection of food & drinks. I've had nearly all the lunch sandwiches but the Main Street Ranger + the Harvest salad combo are my go to! I've had a smoothie from here too that was excellent! I think the pricing is more than fair and the employees are always friendly too.
There was one time (out of hundreds I've ordered) where they mixed up my order (busy Friday lunch time so I wasn't concerned...still ate it!), I let them know and the manager Candace very quickly offered me a gift card for a future order -- which is perfect because I come there a few times a month! :)

Best coffee/breakfast spot in lees summit! Pumpkin spice latte, the staple breakfast Sandwich, or the Quiche of the day are all phenomenal. The ladies who work here are very friendly. My only complaint is they’re closed on Sunday making Sunday my least favorite day! ☺️

Even though they were super busy, the team seemed happy to help explain a few things about their many, many flavors of coffee. On top of their friendly atmosphere and attitude, my Candied Orange latte came out amazing!!

Really cute and cozy coffee shop in the beautiful downtown Lee’s Summit. Most historic downtowns I come across have been forgotten by the community. Lee’s Summit has not! It is full of life and many wonderful small businesses such as this coffee shop. It was a delicious start to the day. Thank you Whistle shop for your hospitality ❤️

Tried the soup and half sandwich, my wife did salad & sandwich. Everything was great! Highly recommended! Drink menu looked great (we were just looking for a good lunch) so we will be back!

They have been out of something for a coffee every time I go in. So now when I do I pick several drinks I'd like so I have a backup if they are out of the syrup or milk. I've had a breakfast sandwich there once and it was fantastic.

The Terminator and Quiche are excellent. Also, great lattes!! The atmosphere is so inviting and cozy. We’ve only been here twice, but look forward to many more visits 🙂 Thank you for having high quality food/drink and service!

Love this cozy place! I used to go to Panera, until my daughter found this place. I love the home town atmosphere. Service is quick and polite. Menu is delicious!

Great shop. Every drink I’ve had has come out great, even just some espresso. It would be very beneficial if outlets were added to the booth seats. The smaller tables with outlets are a little lass than ideal for those who need to spread out a bit when working.
