Kaldi's Coffee

Kaldi’s has been our favorite for the last 10 years!! My husband loves the pour overs, and I drink the decaf mocha. They also have the BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE!!

I visited Kaldi’s coffee shop in Kirkwood this morning. The coffee was great but the food was terrible. I ordered avocado toast with an egg and it was stone cold and awful. For $12 it could’ve been warm at least. Probably won’t go there again but since they had a huge crowd I’m guessing they won’t miss me.

Very good food and drinks, great atmosphere and outdoor seating is available. I just wish that they could do a blended mocha. They have everything to do it, but it's not on the menu and the employees don't seem willing to vary.

Sad I can’t come here often like I used to with the pandemic going on. Their drinks are great. Their bakery food is also amazing, and it's not overpriced. I hope I can sit here and do homework for hours very soon. Love Kaldi’s.

I asked for a macchiato and requested that they steam the milk before pulling the espresso, as this allows the foam to separate and cool more, as well as the fact that cooling the espresso sooner after it is brewed makes it less bitter. I was told that my request didn’t matter. I insisted it did and the clerk kinda just blew me off. Even if it actually didn’t matter (it does), I’m the customer, indulge me and don’t blow me off.

I upped this review to 2-stars (from 1) because I actually like the place and the food they have to offer. This is just about my problem with the blatant lapse in customer service.

Coffee is always good and satisfying. I think the food is okay, but a touch pricey. They care about coffee and do it justice, which the same can't be said for most other coffee places that are more social places that have strong emphasises on food.

Kaldi's coffee is the perfect place to stop in and relax with a hot beverage. Though I'm not really a coffee person, they make the best chai latte's I've ever had. Every time I take an Amtrak to KC and back, I always stop in here first.

I absolutely love Kaldis but this location has been lacking lately in quality of drinks and staff. The last time I came here the staff was kind but many of the drinks and food orders were made incorrectly for many people and several asked for theirs to be remade. They were also understaffed so the line was to the door, the cashier was trying to take orders and make drinks at the same time and the few workers got very overwhelmed.

It is a different kind of coffee shop in a lovely small town in the St. Louis suburban. I am planning to go again in the near future.

I ordered a Gibraltar and a Toasted Cheese, both great! Service was quick and friendly. Great atmosphere and tables open up often even when they are pretty busy
