Very good, accepted a decade old gift card with no issues! Got a very tasty breakfast sandwich and cinnamon roll with 2 lattes. Food was good. Espresso was hot and delicious breakfast sandwich was great. Sandwich has a soft and flakey pastry bun, fried egg, some kind of cheese melted, and a sausage patty. Great breakfast on a cold morning! Staff was also great, espresso was so hot I could only sip and they moved it to a To-Go cup for me!

Great coffee. I like healthier coffee drink options and one of the employees made a great suggestion!

Warm, comfortable decor with rich browns and earth tones, down to the lampshades. Very inviting. Great neighborhood on Lindbergh in Kirkwood just south of the Farmers' Market. Draws a young hip crowd. It should probably be reclassified from coffeeshop to iPad / iPhone test area (as I sit here uploading a review on my phone). Needless to say, the coffee is flavorful and robust.

Busy but always very efficient. I ordered something they were out of and the staff went the extra mile to make up for it (even though I insisted it was fine!) They all seemed nice and pleasant as well

I just visited Kaldi’s for the first time over the weekend. I’m actually not a big coffee person (I drink it, but I certainly could live without it), however I was there to meet a friend for a breakfast date and some girl time, which I’ll almost never pass up!

I noticed there were several chai options on the menu, so I ordered the cashier’s recommendation (was super yum), and I also ordered a particularly delicious-looking piece of chocolate chip banana bread (was indeed delicious) that was making eyes with me through a glass that’s surely only in place so that all of the beautiful baked treats will not suddenly and mysteriously disappear upon my arrival…haha!

There was a line, but it moved along pretty well, and the people working there were just so polite and lovely to interact with. Wait was 15 minutes for my chai, which was spot-on with what they notified me of prior to placing my order. For a very busy Saturday morning, 15 minutes for a chai doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. We got a table while we waited, so no standing inside, and we were able to start enjoying the weather before it got hot out (the sun rose from behind the building, so we sat for a good 2 hours without direct sun). A speaker outside announced when orders were ready for those not waiting inside, so no worries about your order sitting around without your knowledge.

I definitely recommend a visit to Kaldi’s. I think you’ll really enjoy it, even if coffee isn’t your most favorite thing, and if you hang around long enough (like we did), you won’t even have to move your car to go get lunch!

Update: I visited again years later and the service was great and very helpful.
I like Kaldi, but two days ago I went and I got a latte and asked to have it in a mug and not a “to go” cup. After waiting for more than 15 mins, I went and asked if my coffee was ready and the guy there told me it was there, I looked and it was in a “to go” cup. I told him that I asked to have it in a mug. So, HE TOOK THE CUP AND POURED THE COFFEE IN A MUG AND JUST LEFT IT THERE , NO SAUCER, AND WITHOUT SAYING A WORD!!!! Seriously!! I expected a pretty coffee mug and a nice experience but i ended up with a very unprofessional experience!

Just to give you an idea of what they deem an acceptable wait time, I’m currently at 28 minutes for a scone that was already made, and a breakfast sandwich.

Fingers crossed that I receive it by the 40 min mark.

Update at the 45 minute mark I left. Seems weird they couldn’t at least give me the scone that was 18 inches from checkout but obviously they have their system.

Always has great coffee and espresso! Their food does not disappoint either. Highly recommend.

Had the bagel sandwich with candied bacon. Loved the sandwich and the vanilla latte was awesome.
