What a great discovery! My family and I drove past this place the last time we were in town and placed it on our "points of interest" list.
We visited this past Saturday morning and uncovered a wonderful gem. The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely visit each time we are in KC going forward.
It's a must visit!

Local Cool Coffee Shop
This is THE Kansas City coffee shop. The Kansas City Blend is legendary. Worth a visit and even a quick tour to taste the goods. A must see.

Fun excursion early morning for Kansas City's top coffee company. Open M-F 7-6, Sat 8-6 and Sun 9-6. But go anytime for a pick-up of cold brew coffee and a tour of the production of great coffee.
Cafe, Gift Shop and Factory. Great tour for families and people of all ages.

The Roasterie is a specialty coffee company serving the discerning coffee connoisseur. We’re committed to buying the best beans we can find in the world, roasting them the best way known to man (air-roasting), and delivering them as fast as humanly possible. Our iconic DC-3 logo represents all three of these commitments: our worldwide supply network, our innovative use of air, and our speedy delivery.

An exceptional tour. Our tour guide was fun, and created a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. His knowledge of the company, the coffee and the roasting process was educational and entertaining. While the tour was an hour and a half, the time flew right by, as they kept us well caffeinated. Ease into the day of your coffee drinking. The start of the tour is just a small sample, and then the end of the tour feels like a dash to the finish line; falling just short of an over caffeinated heart attack. The tour was started with a light roast and concluded with a comparison two coffees from Brazil. But wait, there was more… just when we thought the tour was over we were introduced to the Cold Brew section. Which was pitched as a sampling of 5 different types… but why did I have and taste what I thought was 7 different flavors? Well, as only what I’d call a social coffee drinker, I was well on my way to solving the worlds problems with all of the energy I had while exiting their doors. Needless to say, I was impressed by the quality, the tour, and most of all our tour guide. Toured at 10AM on Saturday Jan 14, 2023, and I was so hyped I missed our guides name. But simply tipping him wasn’t even and he deserves further praise. Here’s a shout out to him.

We love this place! It's so fun! The aroma when you walk in makes me melt. All the options and seasonal items are amazing. Here are a few photos over the last 5 year's of enjoying going!

• Great coffee, awesome interior, interesting visit
• Specialty drinks were very well made, hit the spot perfectly. It's also an interesting location if you want to see a large-scale roastery in action!
They have glass walls so you can watch the beans being roasted while you sip on your stuff. They also have some nitros for sale, I wish I bought some for home.

This is a cool experience. The tour is really well done with a taste of their nitro brew, and two types of freshly brewed coffee. Ryan, our tour guide, was awesome! I tried their matcha latte, as well. They also have a wine-infused coffee that I look forward to brewing.

Enjoy a great cup of coffee that was roasted right behind the cafe! The Roasterie has so many great flavors and a really cool tour of the factory! Pick up a gift for loved ones, coworkers or yourself! Sample sizes and variety packs available! Or just drink more coffee! The patries were all excellent as well!

I used to have a 5 star rating for The Roasterie. I'm in Denver and so have relied on shipments; I've been a customer for almost 8 years.
Post-Covid The Roasterie has SIGNIFICANTLY raised shipping prices and don't seem to give one flipping care about subscribers anymore. $14 shipping to a neighboring state for a 2 lb bag? HAHAHAHA!!! The Roasterie has clearly decided to profit on shipping costs when everyone knows it doesn't cost $14 to ship a 2 lb package. Shame on you.

Best $5 I've spent all year! Fun little tour with great info about coffee and its origins. Cassie was a great tour guide. Approximately 45 min to 1 hour tour. Souvenir glass AND hairnet included in $5 price!
