PT's Coffee - Power & Light

Nice little coffee shop central in the power and light district. Staff was friendly, service was quick and most importantly the espresso was tasty.

Quite a few good coffee options downtown / River Market area, hadn’t stopped in here before. Staff was really friendly and the latte was top notch. Def will be a regular stop for me.

Stumbled in here walking home one day on a super hot day. Needed something refreshing but indulgent, my barista was quick to offer one of their new favorites, and it did not disappoint. A member from management was also there and was very welcoming and engaging. Conversation if you want it, low key peace and delicious coffee if you don't. I'll be making it a point to pop back in again soon.
Although i didnt get any food, their snack options looked really good, and im pretty critical of baked goods. They also has some really high end coffee accessories/gifts available for purchase too if you find yourself needing that.

The atmosphere is really neat. It’s relaxing for sure. The menu was a little different than what we are used to, so when we asked for suggestions we were met with a rude attitude. The barista wasn’t helpful. It really made us feel unwelcome. We made an order anyway. My girls got their smoothie and that was good. My coffee was barely room temperature. Not the best first time experience. I was proud of my kids for being polite anyway.

I love the vibes. This place is beautiful and calm. It was right around the corner from my hotel. I walked here every morning for that good vibe and coffee.

I came down with a cold earlier on a trip and thought about ordering the kombucha to give me an immune boost, but wasn’t sure because kombucha can be very hit or miss depending on where you get it from. The barista was so sweet and let me try it beforehand to see if I would like it and it turned out to be some of the best I’ve had! I’ve been making my own for a little while, and I could tell this was real deal stuff! The Cherry limeade flavor was delicious! I got to try the other coffee from my friends and not a single one of us was disappointed with what they had to offer! I would 100% recommend PTs coffee to anyone in the KC area!

Coffee was good, the veggie burrito was subpar. Also, the baristas should be more informed on what is in their drinks. I asked if there was cinnamon in the chai tea latte and the response was that they don’t know what’s specifically in a drink.

Nice local shop by the hotel. I enjoyed the coffee and decor.

And the best espresso I’ve had in a long, long time!

Breakfast sandwich was delicious. Barista was very accommodating and helpful. The only thing I didn't care for was that the second barista who came in was very loud and talking about her personal life. Went to school in Colorado, wanted to be a vet then took classes and barely passed etc etc etc 😕
