Equal Minded Cafe & Event Center

Had a great cup of coffee and really enjoyed the down to earth vibe of the cafe, wonderful place. I'll be back! ☕♥️

Great place, in the heart of Ivanhoe, family owned, they care. the Main guy in the front was affable and helpful. I had a Havarti turkey melt, totally yummy. An americano decaf...(Oops, they forgot to add the milk/cream) ok, not a problem. I was supposed to meet a colleague, but I was a week early, but spent a good 45 minutes just watching TRoost street and reading some great poetry from books that were on offer on their shelves. Unfortunately, when my colleague and I finally met, we couldn't meet till 4 PM, and Equal minded closes at 3 PM...but I will be back very soon.

I can’t wait to come back here!! I loved the comfortable, inviting atmosphere of Equal Minded. No pretense, just good coffee and good vibes. The avocado toast is next on my list to try!

Equal Minded is truly a joy to have within walking distance of my apartment. Excellent food and drinks, friendly service, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Such a gem in the neighborhood that I recommend to everyone!

Very disappointed in this coffee shop wanted to enjoy it so bad.... first off coffee was not very good. The barista seems to not listen to my request of almond milk instead of whole milk (I have an extreme dairy allergy) I also saw a roach run up the wall. Cute idea but poor execution. If I could give it a zero star I would. Also the Barista needs to pull up his mask he seem to spit when he talks also very rude.

Absolutely enjoyed the urban minded café. Had the turkey pesto Panini with Zappos chips. It’s the best thing on the menu. You will absolutely love this place.

Equal Minded is a warm and inviting space with great coffee and a wide variety of breakfast/lunch options! I've always gotten amazing service here, and it's nice to support a local family-owned shop .

Always have great food and the freshest ingredients! My favorites are the breakfast mix smoothie and avocado toast, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
