Deliciousness and most excellent customer service! Drinks have all been spectacular. Went in the first time earlier in the week after they popped up on the Googles looking for smoothies. Got a smoothie and chai tea - both excellent. Went back today and tried a sandwich 🥪 - do it y'all! They even added some sliced jalapeños and it was scrumptious. P.S./random - they also have legit community happenings and resources on their bulletin.

I visited today for the first time. Very spacious. Great decorations. Good vibe. Most importantly, my Salted Caramel Latte was PERFECT, sweet and creamy! And my sandwich The Pesto Aioli, oh my goodness, it was conversation-stopping!! Love at first bite! I highly recommend this place.

I’ve never written a review before and probably won’t be writing any others after this one, but I had to speak to the power and beauty of this place. Equal Minded operates more like a community center than a business, with a primary focus on the neighborhood and the residents therein. They provide a comfortable, safe environment to ALL people who enter through their doors while serving up some of the best dirty chai and grilled sandwiches you can get in midtown. Their menu is accommodating to vegetarian’s and vegans with a long list of alternative milks for the beverages including oat milk(alt. milks current “it girl”). You’d be hard pressed to find a more courteous or pleasant staff anywhere in the city. Honestly my only complaint is that I’m too broke to tip as fat as I’d like to, but that’s really just a beef I got with my current employer. Please check this place out if you get the chance, and if you got love for the midtown neighborhood, link up with these folks to see how you can get more involved in this beautiful community.

What a cute coffee shop! Lovely, inviting space. The avocado toast and croissant we had were excellent. The smoothie was awesome. The owners are much more than business people, they are also actively working to make an impact in the community they serve. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful Chai. The Down South breakfast was delish.

my favorite cafe. have you ever heard of 3rd spaces? this was my third space for over A year. i could walk here from home. the owner knew my order. the food was great. i must have gone here three times a week. you can’t force places like this, they’re made organically. i moved away, and i miss it tremendously.

I come here at least once a week, not just for the well crafted coffees (and best chai you will find in KC) but for the friendly, laid back atmosphere. Equal Minded cares about their costumers as individuals but also as members of the community as a whole. We are so lucky to have a place like this. A rare gem in any city!

Equal Minded Cafe is a fantastic family owned cafe for getting delicious foods and coffee. They have a nice selection of breakfast pastries, sandwiches and warm food. The coffee shop has a bar with stools and several private tables excellent for meeting friends or clients. They even have an event center perfect for business meetings or corporate retreats! Street parking is right out front and there is even a yoga studio right above the cafe. I highly recommend it if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a local place to relax. A+

Food and coffee was very good (especially the roast beef sandwich.) Great wedding reception venue host and convenient across the street location to our Airbnb.
