Upshot Coffee

We were passing through town, and ended up here Bc the photos and menu looked good. And we were right! We found the best coffee shop in town, I’d say!
My husband and I both loved the breakfast burritos.

Always friendly and tasty, and the food is not standard, in a good and creative way. And the service is wonderful. A week ago I accidently knocked coffee all over one of the employees. I was completely mortified, of course, but she was gracious about it, and then cleaned up the mess. I recommend upshot!

Visiting relatives from out of town and I was craving hand crafted coffee with freshly roasted beans. Coffee was divine and the milk was micro-foamed and velvety. Guava pastry was flaky without being dry and warmed to just the right temp. Service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. I also picked up a wellness shot of juice and some bone broth to go. Both were a treat.

To those complaining about minor details, stop me if you’ve heard this one, and there is this crazy virus going around that has interrupted staffing patterns and supply chains around the world. I’ve been to New York, LA, and Vegas in the last month and it was the same there- hotels with no housekeeping, five star restaurants with paper napkins, 50% price increase with smaller portions, and (gasp) coffee houses with no sleeves. Everyone is doing the best they can to overcome incredible odds and it’s up to us to be part of this recovery.

You know what makes America great? It’s not a flag or a hat- it’s small businesses like Upshot coffee and the kind, honest, ingenious, hard working people who run them, staff them, clean them, and patronize them.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I hang out with. A lot of coffee drinkers. They all love upshot and I would have to say the teas and pastries are amazing. Plus, it's a great environment!

5 stars and beyond!! I only have good things to say about this place. The coffee is amazing and the staff are all so courteous and wonderful. I stop in about every day and the staff is SO NICE to me and my puppy. The menu is great (tons of options) and I truly feel special everytime I stop in. THANKS!! 😁

My first time trying this coffee shop out and wow....they did not disappoint. Honestly, it was the best latte I have ever had. And I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, while testing other coffee shops. This is my new go-to coffee shop without a doubt. I have to mention how nice the workers were as well. 5 stars🏆

I try to frequent local small businesses. While I was in Cottleville, I wanted coffee and decided to go to a local rather than my usual Starbucks.

This place is kind of hidden. It has a nice lobby area. The food looked a bit froufrou and to $$, but I was just wanted an iced latte. I chose the iced latte with cinnamon. The girls working were very friendly. The coffee, even with extra added sweetener, was bitter, yet somehow, bland. I managed to get half of it down before I gave up.

I'm giving 3 stars because of their variety of bone broths and how friendly and sweet to staff was.

High quality coffee and food, but minus a star for the service time. I understand a busy Saturday morning, but they should set expectations on current wait times when ordering at the counter. It took 50 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out with my takeout order. It was just 2 lattes and 2 breakfast sandwiches, nothing complex. I want to continue supporting local businesses over places like Starbucks, but I don't think I'll return in the near future. Never again on a weekend morning.

This is a unique place to spend a quiet evening on a date or with a friend just sipping a latte while enjoying great conversation.
