Lakota Coffee Company - Downtown

Coffee is good. Pricey but that's how coffee is these days for some reason. Food is decent too. Gets crowded waiting for your order. Wish it was a bit more space for that.

Lakota is by far the best coffee shop in Columbia. I've never walked in and seen so many people enjoy eachother's company. This place makes you feel right at home with its unique ambience and personality. Nothing beats in house roasting!

I come for the coffee and the atmosphere. The staff has always been pleasant and quick and a seat at the bar can make you many a new friend. The owner is in frequently and seems engaged with his staff. Definitely my first pick when downtown.

The staffs are friendly and coffee is great.

Do NOT go to this place the workers are rude as can be and treat people like they are an inconvenience. Always spoke well about Lakota from my experience at the south side location but they need to get rid of the rude inexperienced little girls they have running the place and microwaving sandwiches for us. 0/0 DO YOUR JOB & DONT COME TO WORK IF YOUR GONNA BE RUDE TO THE PAYING CUSTOMERS.

Love the crew last night 12/23/19 downtown they always know how to make a good lattee never too hot or too cold perfect perfect! Me and my husband always order two lattes each when that crew is there because we know were going to get an awesome latte!

I'm digging the rich, chocolaty house blend at a decent price for a bottomless cup. The staff is pretty and friendly! There is some nice, laid-back classic rock and conversation in the background as I chill in one of their stylish, yet comfy chairs near the window. ;-)

Lakota is my go-to coffee shop in Columbia for both drinks and beans. Their coffee is consistently delicious and their baristas are always so kind. Definitely recommend it!!

Not what it used to be. I went to college in Columbia, and Lakota was one of my favorite places; walked a couple of miles to get there. Always friendly and personable, but this visit was not. Guess I was looking for nostalgia, but the girl behind the counter would never be hired by me.

This is my favorite place in all of Columbia. The memories I have studying here for hours with my friends, along with their bottomless coffee cups and giant cookies. By far the best coffee I have ever had, and happy to find out they ship it across the country!
