My husband ordered a double espresso and it was one of the prettiest things I've ever seen! Everything in served on a rectangular plate. At one end is your tiny mug of espresso. At the other end is a small glass of water. And on a spoon in between the two are two chocolate covered coffee beans. Luckily, my husband is awesome and let me eat those.. :)

My only complaint seems a little silly...I think they were playing Tori Amos, a particularly wrist-cutting, annoying song. Her voice is pretty strident and took away from the laid-back atmosphere for me.

A few things have changed and I wish they hadn't. Unfortunately, you can't fill up your own coffee cup anymore. Also a bottomless coffee now costs around $5. The employees are still kind and helpful, and the coffee is still good.

I am new to the area and everyone I work with raves about this place. But today, I tried their coffee for the second time and it was the grossest coffee I had ever had. I have now tried both of their drip coffees and let me just say I wish there was an Einstein's closer.

Maybe this is a one off... but I doubt they alter their sandwich size. I got a Avacado sandwich for nine bucks which came out the size of a White Castle burger. The staff was unresponsive to typical pleasantries... such as 'hello', they just mumbled a bit and asked for my order. I like Kaldi's on De Mun, but I'll not return to the Clayton location for anything. I give two stars because I'm assuming it isn't poisoned. If no one hears from me again... reduce this to one star and send flowers to my mother.

Amazing coffee shop. Great food and lovely outdoor patio.

Fantastic latte this morning! The flavor was smooth and nutty. Definitely should have stopped here earlier in the week.

Great spot! Cozy atmosphere with good drinks + fun healthy food options. The staff plays a good mix of music, too. :)

This is the mother of all coffee shops in Saint Louis. Check around and you will find that many of the celebrity baristas in Saint Louis originally trained at Kaldi's or from someone who trained at Kaldi's. Kaldi's has ruined me for coffee, because nobody does it better. Follow the goat to this location by the Ritz, or the other one on DeMun.

Great coffee and food!
Fair prices!
Good service!

Pretentious and smug. Coffee, not bad but no better than most. Chai tea, just milk with some spice. Asked for another tea without foam and less milk, got it back with more milk and foam. If it were not for the location I would never come back. This place has a history of professional snobery without reason.
