This is my go-to place for coffee in St Louis. Any time that I come into town, I put this on my "must visit" list. If you get a chance to try the Highlander Grogg, do not pass it up. You may have to ask for it, but they sell the beans. They are dark, robust, and a blend of caramel maple goodness. If you are in the mood for food, try the breakfast burrito, and prepare for tasted bud nirvana.

I have always enjoyed Kali's Coffee better than Starbucks and my experience today supported my opinion. The employee's help open doors for people coming in and had a great friendly attitude. I'd definitely if I have to visit again when I have the opportunity.

Visiting from Denver. This is my local shop here. The service is tops and the espresso is quality craft. Clean and comfortable shop. Straight up addicted to the breakfast bowl. Thank you guys!

I've never been a huge fan of Kaldis drip coffee, but love their lattes. Unfortunately, this location doesn't even have a menu for these items or the supplies to make them. If you're going for a quick bite and black coffee - this is your place. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I ordered a holiday drink, the dark chocolate mocha. I had asked a question about a couple drinks, but ended up getting the dark chocolate mocha. I asked if the cayenne listed in it made it spicy and she said no it has spices but isn’t spicy. She misheard what I asked for and I received the wrong drink. I could understand how she may have misunderstood as I asked a question about another drink. My boyfriend received the right one though, we ordered the same thing. I asked for it to be remade and I received the one I ordered. My boyfriend’s drink was good and mine was extremely spicy and burned our throats when we tried it. We both tried both drinks but they tasted very different. We went to the cashier to ask for a new one without the cayenne and she said we knew what we were ordering and belittled us by saying it was a spiced drink so we should know. I mentioned my boyfriends drink didn’t burn our throats. She said whatever and proceeded to ring us up for another and tried charging us again. I told her that I asked about the spice because a latte shouldn’t burn ur throat, I suppose the cayenne was meant to bring out the other flavors, not take over. She said that when she said that it wasn’t spicy she was talking about the other drink so it was a misunderstanding but she took offense to it. I don’t think she heard me ask if the cayenne pepper made it spicy. When we refused to pay for another drink to replace a drink we had barely taken a couple sips from because it was not good to be consumed. She didn’t apologize or assume any responsibility for what happened. She told us we had to buy a new one. The other woman there ended up remaking a new one. We still got no apologies and we weren’t difficult, we just wanted the thing we paid for. When I originally gave her cash tip she didn’t say thank you or anything. She gave us rude looks while we waited. I am extremely disappointed as I have never got bad service here. I never received an apology from either of the two women working. This young lady should not be working a service job she acts very entitled. She was white with dark hair and wore glasses. My boss would write me up if I did that, but nothing was done. People are paying for your product and sometimes drinks need to be remade to make the customer happy, I have to deal with things being sent back where I work, but in the end of the day I do what I need to get the customer in and out happy. If the customer doesn’t like the product, you remake it so they can enjoy it or you give them their money back. How would you feel if you went somewhere and paid $6 for a drink to enjoy and it wasn’t even drinkable and the cashier tried making you pay for a new one? Acts of bitterness like this make your day a little worse and you want people to leave your establishment feeling good. Don’t work in the service industry if you’re only going to spread your discontent onto other people trying to enjoy their day off. Very disappointed with this visit to Kaldi.

Great coffee drinks in addition to the "usual suspects" such as latte, capucino, etc. Prices are fair and service is quick. Most of the baristas are pleasant and the ambience is as one would expect for a coffee house ~ leather chairs, bar-height stools, industrial vibe lighting. Overall a great place for a great cup o' Joe.

I asked barista what kind of espresso - he said single origin, but wouldn’t tell me the origin? I ordered one thing, and paid an upcharge, but got the same espresso they were pulling for every drink. I’ve worked in a coffee establishment before; please know what you are selling. I tried to come here to support a locally owned business and staff was rude and my drink tasted terrible.

Very comfortable atmosphere, employees are chill and friendly. Granted I go with basics like a hot Mocha, taste is great, but as expected, higher price for premium product. I would recommend any coffee lover to try.

Met a party of 10 for Sunday brunch & was offered their private party room since it was available. This feature and overall attentive/prompt service made for a relaxing experience. Food was good if not entirely consistent, atmosphere was great and facilities were generally clean & bright. Keep rockin' this house!

This shop has been my family’s go to hang out place each weekend this past summer. I recommend their cold brew and Almond Orange Muffin or Gooey Butter Cake. Great coffee, cannot even compare Starbucks to it.
