My husband and I went this morning. The cashier didn't know what a flat white was and said they couldn't make one. The food came out quickly, it was pretty good but had sauces on them that weren't on the menu. We had to ask for our double espresso 3 times before it came out- after we had completed our meal. When it did finally come out, it was a single espresso. it was cold. It took over 30 minutes to get an espresso at a place that has espresso in the name.

Came here while visiting Branson. It was recommended by a good friend. The food was definitely delicious and the pastries they have and offer are equally delicious. For me it was the wait time. It seems like it takes a long time, which is something I found out is common with visiting. Everything is made fresh and they were steady, but I still think the wait times were a little extreme. If I have time to kill in the future, I would visit again. For more of my reviews of restaurants, places of interest, and more, follow me on Google reviews.

I have to confess, we did not eat here. I wanted to but…😔 It was super busy (and it was slow season), which is good for them. But you have to stand inline to order your food and pay for it. Then find a table (if you’re lucky) and someone will bring your food to you. There was only one person taking orders and the line was moving SO slow!!! We finally gave up and left.

While we were in line waiting, someone leaving did say the food was delicious and it certainly looked like it.

This restaurant is located within a collection of shops. So it is frequented by tourist buses, which explains why it was so busy.

So in summary, if you’re looking for a full service restaurant to relax, this is not it!

Not worth the hype. Called ahead to make sure they were open since we've gone before and they were closed. They confirmed that they were open but when we got there they were out of soup and bread. Just close at that point. What food we could get was just meh. Definitely overpriced for what it is. Dessert wasn't even that good, and they claim to have an award winning bakery. Will not be back.

Super cute shop, delightful sandwiches, fancy lemonade and Coco. Cute, helpful girls at the counter. They had a very limited soup selection the day we were there and it took a long time for the Coco to come out. Everything was delicious though and the atmosphere was festive and fun. Would certainly eat here again.

Food was good. Maybe we came at a bad time, but the line was long. After ordering we waited a long time again for our food. Others who were behind us in line received their orders before ours! My advice, come when the are not busy.

My husband & I chose this bakery 🧁 for our wedding cake 🍰 and groom’s cake. They did not disappoint! They have the most moist cake we’ve ever tasted! I would recommend fillings to amp up your flavor as I like a brighter & bolder flavor profile. My husband’s grooms cake was a Kansas City Chief’s helmet that looked so life-like guests were mistaking it for the real thing! They set it up for our reception at Big Cedar Lodge and we couldn’t have been more please. Thank you Sugar Leaf Bakery! We will definitely be recommending you to our friends & family that have occasions in your area.

Pros: cute place, healthy options, and kind of employees

Cons: long wait, food is mediocre and the coffee if you like espresso is “okay”. Pretty sour each time I’ve come. Most people that I see are drinking some kind of iced sugar drink so if that’s your kind of coffee then I think you’ll enjoy it.

Not very kid friendly, no high chairs accessible if you have a young toddler.

Sugar Leaf did my cake and cupcakes for my wedding at the end of September. Everyone was great to work with from setting up our tasting to ordering, and delivery! The cupcakes were huge for the price and the cake was exactly what I wanted! Would use them again!!

Sugar Leaf—I love you guys, and I’m addicted to your roast beef sandwich, but man…I gotta knock a star off for your coffee shop. You’ve got a nice third-wave modern, minimalist vibe going on, but you make bad second-wave coffee. And overpriced, too—$6 for a bad cappuccino using mediocre beans?! I will not be getting coffee from you again when I can go get a delicious velvety smooth cappuccino with proper latte art for nearly half that price (I just checked: $3.40) over at Vintage Paris or any other number of great coffee shops up in Springfield. It never ceases to amaze me how much second-wave coffee shops overcharge for bad coffee and get away with it when third-wave shops make better drinks for less money. 🤷‍♂️
