Atmosphere ok, but I never had a half full 12oz cup of coffee for $4. That's half what you get at Starbucks for twice the price. And I actually asked for a real cup but this didn't happen either.... Cafe culture leaves a lot to be desired on the coast.

Great atmosphere, good food, crazy overpriced!!! I paid $30 for two coffees and two biscuits. I wouldn't have stopped by if I would've known it was that pricey. But I love the book store/Beach atmosphere. It was nice.

Stopped in on a dreary, misty, & cold late morning, simply wanting a coffee to warm my bones and spirits. The coffee ( a "Mississippi" something or other) did, just that!
However, the atmosphere and staff took center stage, sweeping me into a place so warm and cozy, honestly, beyond the coffee and scone meeting expectations, I remember little else regarding their consumption.
Pardon the cliche, but the cashier was a delightful ray of sunshine on a rainy day while one of the Co-owner's was floating about, mingling with customers, doling out even more sunshine.
This little hideaway has a very eclectic offering of uniquely "Southern" literature. I was completely lost in the presentation of so many Southern authors, spanning such diverse subjects, I wasn't certain that what I was witnessing was true reality. Needless to say, I left the little coffee shop with not only a coffee and a scone, but also with an unexpected arm-load of books.
Although Scenic Hwy 90 separates the coffee shop from the beach, the views of the beach & gulf are unobstructed by any buildings or commercialization and are beautiful.
Don't miss this little treasure on your next trip to the Mississippi Gulf Cost.

The first time I came here, I loved it! The staff were super friendly and the coffee was great. But the second trip was a total 180. They don’t have any tables with access to an outlet to charge a laptop. I asked if I could move a table to a corner near an outlet, and they said yes. Then, a couple hours later, they kicked me out because they didn’t have enough tables for other customers. Sorry, but I am a customer. Apparently, I no longer deserved to be there. Just frustrating that they didn’t try to remedy the situation for me—like offer me a new table or place to sit if you need my table. Rude. I won’t be returning.

The quaint atmosphere of the little bookstore is fantastic. Cozy, charming, and warm as soon as you walk in the door. Several small chairs to sit in

Great selection of coffees and teas. The Book Club was amazing and the coconut lime scone was perfect. We had the big table and played a card game and the staff was wonderful.

One of my favorite coffee shops on the coast. Staff is kind and attentive, and their coffee is delicious and consistent, which can be surprisingly hard to find. Any morning I just want to relax, this is the place I'll opt to go

Beautiful book store and coffee shop. So many local cookbooks we had to buy 6. Coffee is great. Service was super friendly. Can't recommend more.
