Nice people and good service, but with a price. Expect $15-20 per person for brunch and coffee.

My wife and I go here on a semi-regular basis and I have even brought the 2 teenage grandchildren as they both enjoy a good meal. This review is based just on our last visit. We always start with an appetizer and generally get the crab clawa. These are very tasty but times are changing and the cost is going up and the quantity went down. We heard the special which my wife was interested in (the fresh fish with crabmeat stuffing over rixe pilaf and a side of brussell sprouts). My wife did not want the rice pilaf and asked if it could be left off. The answer was no substitutions allowed. We didn't ask for a substitue, just not to give it to us. At that point my wife just said nevermind and ordered the crabcake appetizer and the wedge salad. I got the pasta creole. All of that food was great. My complaint here was my wife only ate 2/3 of the wedge and I wanted to eat the rest and asked for some more dressing. It was sufficient and came in one of those small 2 oz (?) containers. When I got the nearly $90 bill I saw they charged me $0.25 for the dressing. The cost was not really a deal breaker but the "no substitutes" to delete something and 25 cents for dressing just turned me off hence the 3 stars.

The "Train Car" is awesome and the chicken in the "Romano Wrap" has a great flavor. Service was excellent and our party enjoyed the atmosphere inside on a very rainy day.

We tried out the Strawberry Cafe after reading their great reviews here on Google; our visit did not disappoint.
Our bartender (Murphy) was very personable and attentive. The other staff were also very friendly (Peyton & Dee) even though they were not assigned to our section.
Our drinks, the crab claws, creole pasta, and shrimp and grits were all delicious! We're going back again today to see what other gems we can find on the menu.

Thank you Strawberry Cafe for the amazing experience. Beca, my waitress did an excellent job with taking care of my family. The bartender Jess made very nice cocktails. Everyone worked as a team and was genuinely kind. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely come again.

Since it’s my last day in MS, a few of my friends and I decided to try this restaurant for brunch because of all the great reviews. I’ll start with my cons because I like to end on a positive note.
Cons: Upon arrival, we found it rather strange that the hostess asked several servers if they “wanted to work 45”, which was our table (we heard her say she would place us there)—in front of us—and we had to listen them say no. I’ve never experienced anything like that in a restaurant before, but perhaps it’s a normal thing here (maybe due to party size?). However, if it is not common practice, I would suggest using a little more discretion if servers have the option to choose which customers to serve—especially, with all of the racial tension in our country because it could be taken the wrong way.
Pros: Overall, food was pretty tasty. I had the Crab Cake Benedict and the flavor was great. The portion size was small though (literally, one crab cake) so keep that in mind. A few of my friends had the fried chicken cutlet platter and I tried a bite—it was delicious. The $3 mimosas were also an excellent treat. Despite what happened at arrival, I wouldn’t be against returning because of the food (specifically, the chicken cutlet dish) and the politeness of Vick, our server.
