Only been once, it was packed around lunchtime but the food was delicious. Clearly a local favorite.

I wanted to share this review to be constructive to this restaurant, because I do like the food there and I eat there often. We were there for breakfast and both my wife and myself ordered oatmeal, coffee and tea. This morning was just a lot of work to get it right.
First no tea with the hot water so had to go ask for a tea bag. When we got our order of oatmeal it didn’t come with the little tin of cream or milk, but maybe that has changed. No fruit either, yet it was advertised on the menu. I asked the waitress where the fruit was. She responded that “you have to ask for that if you want it”. We were like ok... can we have fruit then. Wasn’t sure why we needed to ask for something that is stated in the written menu on the board as “served with”. Beings there was no milk I figured I’d just go buy some. In that return visit to the counter I asked if she was getting the fruit. She said, oh you want fruit with it? I said yes... again. As she was making my change she stopped to go ask a co-worker something ( I am guessing wondering to charge extra ). I politely showed her the menu where it says it’s part of the event. It took a while but it finally came. No refills on coffee, so a fourth and final trip to the counter to get a second cup.
After some of the ownership came in, people moved a lot faster, atmosphere seemed to change and coffee starting coming around for the first time when we were about to leave. It was just a lot work to have breakfast and would have been better at home.
This is a good place but better consistency would go a long way.

Breakfast foods, hamburgers, soup, sandwiches, and coffee--it's all great! Reasonably priced, and very good service. The attached farmers market with seasonal produce and handmade crafts is pretty cool, too!

I love their salads - no iceberg lettuce and you are left feeling full! I also love their delicious specialty drinks that change seasonally. It’s a great place to go with friends!

Love, love, love! We were so pleasantly surprised to find such a great breakfast place! The coffee was incredible, the food was delicious! We will definitely be back when we drive to Virginia!

One of my favorite hidden gems on the iron range. With healthier options, this local coffee shop is above the rest! I love the adorable ambiance! Best place to find a quick gift!

We used Kunnari's as our wedding caterer, for an outdoor wedding (with eating in lodges) at Camp Warren in Eveleth.
It was amazing. They are amazing. Kelly was our main contact, but the sister-duo that runs Kunnari's does an amazing job, and lets zero details slip.
They met with us early on to discuss food options, and we decided to go a non-traditional route: their delicious family-secret pot pie. They adjusted the recipe to allow for vegetarians to get a taste, while the rest of our guests enjoyed chicken pot pie.
The results? We've had at least 10-15 guests rave about how delicious the pot pie was and how much they loved our meal. We had another 10 or so people tell us that the salad bar put together by Kunnari's was the best salad bar they've ever had. Multiple people went to the buffet table for seconds and thirds (on both pot pie AND salad).
I haven't even mentioned the appetizers yet, which were amazing as well. Farm-fresh kabobs, salsa (fruit & traditional), and bruschetta. Yum!
We wish we could get married and have these folks cater for us a million times over. If you're reading this and considering using their catering services for anything at all, please give them a shot.
Side note: We're now big fans of their restaurant as well, and recommend that to anybody searching for gourmet food on the Iron Range.

Food is fresh and decent. A lot healthier than fast food, which is mostly what you find in Virginia. The market has some good options, although most of it is imported from further south. Not surprisingly, since there's not much local produce, especially early in the summer.

Excellent and friendly service, delicious breakfast and coffee, and a pleasant environment. We look forward to coming back. Definitely our new breakfast place!
