After having walked into Ettlins on two separate occasions for breakfast with my wife, the woman who works in the morning during the week goes out of her way to be rude and offensive. She literally drove us out of the restaurant both times without even ordering food.😂

I live in this community and had no idea how great this restaurant has become, especially for breakfast. The Scottish eggs were fantastic and the hash browns delicious. It is obviously a scratch kitchen, one a foodie would appreciate, especially a breakfast lover!

I have celiac's disease, and normally do not frequent restaurants that do not mention gluten free on the menu. However, my wife wanted to come here after my daughter's soccer game. She talked to the host about my issues, and they let the waitress know ahead of me ordering. She was knowledgeable, and knew what I could and couldn't have. Granted the options were limited, but they were willing to accomodate. The food was good and I enjoyed my breakfast. Best part was I didn't feel any ill affects afterward.

I am so happy to have a restaurant like Ettlin's so close to home. The kids adore the huge fluffy chocolate chip pancakes and the waffles they sometimes have as specials. I love their angry rooster spicy omelette. I was pleasantly surprised by the different options they have for cold brew and hot coffees. I recently brought my celiac husband here and even though it was busy the host understood and ran through options to accomodate. The communication was fantastic, we didn't even have to tell the waitress - she already knew and had gluten free suggestions in her back pocket to help my husband navigate the menu. This level of care and attention to detail means a lot for someone living with celiacs. He had steak and eggs with fresh fruit and said the steak was awesome - he loved the sauce especially, just wished he had some gluten free bread/English muffins/hash browns to clean the plate. They are always bustling in the morning and they demonstrate exceptional ownership and care. We really love Ettlin's!

What a small town gem. Everything we ordered far exceeded expectation. Even the children's chicken fingers we're an experience. Clearly house batter with a delicious light fluffy batter. The Scotch eggs were one of the best I have ever hand. The up north waffles with candied pecans and real maple syrup was amazing. This establishment clearly has a lot of pride in there ingredients as the menu is littered with locally sourced ingredients like there honey, syrup, meats, etc... Will be returning soon.

Love the atmosphere, almost feels like sitting at someone's home. The staff was so friendly, everyone checked in to see how everyone was doing, not just our waitress. Drinks were refilled without us even noticing. The food was amazing and the proportions were huge! I cannot wait to go back again!

This little out-of-the-way restaurant is awesome. Their food is yummy, the wait staff is great and I enjoy it every time I go there. Not only does their chef know how to make soft scrambled eggs she also makes wonderful Czech Vomacka soup. It is a cream-based soup with celery, carrots, green beans, potatoes and Dill with a secret ingredient added that gives it a delightful flavor! Thanks for the great experience once again. You got to give this a try folks, it is well worth the visit.

If you want fresh ham, sausage, steak and top of the line eggs this is the place. The pancakes are sooo moist and fluffy. When I lived in Montgomery this was by far my favorite place to eat breakfast and it was 20 bucks for the two of us. So reasonable, I will drive back just to eat here soon

Made from scratch cafe. Very good breakfast and good old fashioned "give it to ya straight" cafe service (friendly with a little fun sass every now and then). Down side is although it's usually very good, it's not always consistent (sometimes undercooked pancakes). During lunch, the fries could be better. It's too bad they're usually not open for dinner, as it'd be nice to have another nice dinner option in town. Overall, very good.

Best breakfast spot in the area….the angry rooster omelet is my go to. They make a good scotch egg and also have great dumplings and gravy.
