Excellent home cooked food, good sized servings, quick service. One of our top places to go.

I've only been once for breakfast, but everything was delicious. Good variety of Czech/german food along with some unique takes on typical breakfast dishes. I will definitely visit again.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding the weekend of January 10th. On Sunday the 12th, we met friends on our way out of town. First glance inside this restaurant and it was clean, busy, and staff was cheerful! I have been in the business for 35 years and I notice these things when I am out. Our server was wonderful, unfortunately I didnt notice her name, she was attentive, she was smiling, and even though it was busy, she did a great job, even pre-bussing, which sometimes gets missed when it is busy.Our food was awesome, I happen to order the Monte Cristo whenever I have the chance and this is high on my list of favorites! All in all we enjoyed everything about our time with you. Good job!

Great food, but a little expensive

Food is homemade and decent. The service is very hit or miss. The server I was served by didnt offer us the daily specials or give us a single smile, looked very rough like she hadn't showered in a few days.

Always good food. Their breakfast options are fantastic, especially the Angry Rooster. Service can be a bit slow, especially weekend mornings, but it's worth the wait. Just don't show up expecting to be out the door in 30 minutes.

Very good food in a pleasant setting.

Came from out of town for a trip. Excellent food with reasonable prices. Very relaxed atmosphere and small town feel. Highly recommend.

We learned about this restaurant from people we know that drive from Watertown (not Waterville,but the town that's over an hour north) who love it here.
On our 4 visits we've come to love it too. The Czech/Swiss entrees are also an interesting option.
It's not fast food folks,so if you don't have the time for freshly prepared house- made food done to your order,try back another time when you do.

Great place, family owned. Was seated right away even though they were busy. They have some surgeries on the menu too you don't fine everywhere else.
